    BRABUS BLOODLINE

    Since 1977, the BRABUS name has been synonymous with luxury, handcrafted exclusivity and performance. Known globally among enthusiasts for the creation of high-performance supercars and as automotive individualization experts for over four decades, BRABUS has since also established itself in the marine sector through its series of exclusive day boats. Now, the company is expanding once again - broadening its focus towards high-end motorcycling in collaboration with KTM.

    The BRABUS 1300 R, based on the new KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO, is the latest addition to the BRABUS product portfolio of bespoke, high-performance vehicles. Designed to merge the worlds of premium motorcycling and cutting edge refinement, this premium motorcycle sets new standards for those with an eye for details.

    Only 154 BRABUS 1300 R units will be built, each hand-crafted to precise and meticulous specifications. To add an extra touch of unique individuality, the BRABUS 1300 R will be offered in just two distinct color schemes – MAGMA RED and SIGNATURE BLACK. Only 77 of each variant will go into production, with the number 77 signifying the year in which BRABUS was founded.   

    In signature BRABUS fashion, the BRABUS 1300 R maintains the unmistakable ‘Black and Bold’ design identity with a range of exclusive components including lightweight Monoblock Z 9-spoke forged wheels, carbon fiber air intakes, a distinctive headlight and a bespoke heated seat treated with expert attention to detail by the BRABUS interior specialists.

    Powered by a V-Twin engine, producing 180 hp and 140 Nm, the BRABUS 1300 R is well appointed in the power department. Boasting a class-leading 1,301 cc big block engine and unparalleled levels of sophistication. Additionally, with WP APEX semi-active suspension, electronic rider aids, and RIDE MODES, the BRABUS 1300 R makes a statement about true exclusivity, handcrafted luxury, and signature BRABUS styling.  

    BODYWORK AND DESIGN

    Visually, there is no mistaking the BRABUS 1300 R for anything else. Swathes of bespoke carbon fiber paneling, a custom-made heated seat, and a distinctive headlight cast a truly unique shadow and ensure an instant 1-second wow factor. 

    Designed to offer exclusivity to discerning riders in combination with the highest level of performance, quality, and design, this brand new motorcycle is a tribute to the BRABUS bloodline, characterized by a unique and instantly recognizable heritage and accentuated by a premium custom seat, distinct carbon fiber elements, as well as a flawless paint finish.

    All body panels and components have also been designed with unparalleled attention to detail, revealing more of this meticulous Naked bike every time you take a closer look.   

    ROUND HEADLIGHT

    Upfront, a distinctive round LED headlight captures your immediate attention – specifically designed to be reminiscent of styling cues from the BRABUS product range, such as the BRABUS 900 GV12 and BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP. The headlight is embedded in an aerodynamic headlight mask to ensure maximum airflow to the engine’s air box.

    WHEELS 

    The signature lightweight BRABUS Monoblock Z 9-spoke forged wheels have also been integrated into the BRABUS 1300 R’s exceedingly sporty design. With their bold style and unrelenting strength, they bring a distinct muscularity to the wheelbase, while being perfectly in line with the hallmark wheel-style often found on a variety of BRABUS supercars. 

    BRABUS CARBON FIBER PARTS 

    All BRABUS products are defined by high-end carbon fiber elements. The BRABUS 1300 R is no different, with the lateral air ducts, the unique headlight mask, pillion seat cover and the belly pan all manufactured from lightweight and ultra-strong carbon.

    BRABUS CUSTOM HEATED SEAT 

    The BRABUS 1300 R heated seat was developed to underline the luxurious character of the motorcycle, while providing maximum levels of grip, fluid rider movement and optimum comfort. The seat heating additionally ensures pleasant riding comfort in cooler weather. Seat height sits at a comfortable 845 mm and is finished in two color options, namely MAGMA RED or SIGNATURE BLACK – depending on which colorway is individually specified.

    CARBON FIBER UNDERTRAY 

    The carbon fiber undertray is composed of a single piece of carbon which stops the scale just above 800 grams, neatly integrating into the single seat tail.

    START UP ANIMATION 

    Taking charge at the helm is a 5-inch TFT display. Riders can access information and make adjustments to the bike’s WP APEX semi-active suspension on the fly, quickly and easily without navigating complex menus. The 5-inch TFT display is also scratch and glare resistant. Still catching glare, the TFT display is tilt-angle adjustable, allowing the rider to suite his/her riding style. In addition, the BRABUS 1300 R has its own BRABUS HMI-Welcome-Screen and a selectable MAGMA RED display color scheme. 

    HEATED GRIPS 

    Ensuring comfortable riding in any weather conditions, and an added touch of luxury, the BRABUS 1300 R is fitted with heated grips with 4 levels of adjustment and easy operation.

    BRABUS CNC-MACHINED ADJUSTABLE FOOTPEGS 

    Bespoke BRABUS foot pegs were CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum with a carbon fiber heel guard and allow for 12-position adjustability, tastefully rounded off by a premium black and silver color scheme. 

    KEYLESS IGNITION 

    The BRABUS 1300 R is fitted with a state-of-the-art keyless start system, which also controls the fuel cap. This means all you need to fill up is the transponder key in your pocket. 

    LITHIUM ION BATTERY

    Power for the electronics of the BRABUS 1300 R is provided by an ultra-lightweight lithium-Ion battery, which not only dramatically reduces the overall weight, but also provides long-lasting and reliable starting in all weather conditions.  

    BRABUS CNC-MACHINED TRIPLE CLAMP 

    Lightweight and ultra-stiff, this triple clamp was specifically designed for the BRABUS 1300 R.  While maintaining a 32 mm offset, its superior stiffness ensures precise handling and feel under hard braking. It also ensures less friction in the fork clamping area, providing better pressure distribution. Mostly, however, it is a signature part that shouts BRABUS design, finished in bi-color black and aluminum and emblazoned with the BRABUS logo.

    BRABUS CNC-MACHINED ADJUSTABLE FRONT BRAKE AND CLUTCH LEVERS 

    Providing both visual appeal and performance, the BRABUS 1300 R feature CNC-machined hand levers, both of which are fully adjustable. This compliments fully adjustable shift and rear brake levers, that allow for 3 mounting positions for both length adjustability and height – including the option for a reverse shift pattern.

    BRABUS CNC-MACHINED RESERVOIRS AND OIL TANK CAPS 

    Manufactured from billet aluminum to the strictest of specifications, these CNC-machined reservoirs add unique BRABUS detailing to the BRABUS 1300 R cockpit. 

    INTEGRATED TURN SIGNALS 

    Featuring the latest LED technology, integrated turn signals also provide a clean, unobstructed appearance. LED taillights with incorporated LED turn signals ensure your intentions are always made clear. These also include adaptive brake light as standard.

    HANDLEBAR END MIRRORS 

    CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum and anodized for peak visual clout, these adjustable end-mirrors integrate perfectly into the overall design.  

    WP APEX SEMI-ACTIVE SUSPENSION 

    With new WP APEX semi-active suspension from WP suspension, the BRABUS 1300 R boasts superb rideability and an even wider range of usability.   

    Six different damping modes - COMFORT, STREET, SPORT, TRACK, ADVANCED and AUTO - are available as standard equipment, with the rear spring preload having the ability to be set by up to 20 mm, via the TFT menu. This is done in 10 steps according to the requirements of the rider, with the adjustability settings ranging from 0% to 100%, in 10% or 2 mm increments.   

    • COMFORT provides a softer, more compliant ride, best suited for longer sessions out on the road or uneven surfaces.  
    • STREET is the ideal setting to provide sporty riding characteristics, with a desirable level of comfort.  
    • SPORT takes all the best aspects of STREET mode, but with stiffer suspension performance for sportier riding.  
    • TRACK provides the stiffest available setting to provide the ideal setting for track days and specifically set up for faster race tracks where you need additional support under hard braking  
    • ADVANCED allows the rider to select the level of damping for the fork and shock on a scale from 1 to 8. This suits more technical riders who are looking for the smallest marginal gains and want to fine-tune and tailor their suspension settings for their riding styles.  
    • AUTO is the most intelligent of the pack and is capable of detecting different riding styles and automatically adapting the damping of suspension, being softer and more comfortable when cruising through the city, and harder and more focused when riding aggressively on a fast mountain pass. This auto adjustment between modes happens instantly without any interference in the ride.

    The WP APEX semi-active suspension that is fitted to the BRABUS 1300 R also offers three automatic preload auto-leveling settings – LOW, STANDARD, and HIGH. In this instance, the suspension is able to adjust the preload automatically in accordance with the weight of the rider and recreate three defined geometries:  

    • AUTO-STANDARD: neutral and balanced geometry  
    • AUTO-LOW: relaxed, less aggressive, more comfortable geometry, with a lower seat height.   
    • AUTO-HIGH: aggressive, agile track attack geometry, with a more loaded front end. 

    Additionally, the system also takes the pillion into account, adjusting automatically to the ideal setting to cope with the added weight on the rear of the motorcycle. 

    A standard ANTI-DIVING setting keeps the front-end high under hard braking. Naturally, as with most electronic functions, it can be switched off.   

    ENGINE 

    Making use of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO’s exceptional LC8 engine producing 180 hp at 9500 rpm and 140 Nm at 8000 rpm, the BRABUS 1300 R provides performance that you would expect from the BRABUS brand. Designed to challenge the limits of forward thrust, this high-performance configuration offers a riding experience unlike any other. 

    BRABUS SLIP-ON DOUBLE-PIPE EXHAUST 

    The exhaust system has always been a style-defining feature for all BRABUS products. A distinctive sound and performance-orientated design are rooted in BRABUS heritage. The BRABUS 1300 R is equipped with a unique exhaust slip-on, featuring a double-pipe design, which underlines the powerful but unconventional character of the motorcycle.

    QUICK TURN THROTTLE TWIST GRIP

    Throttle response is given a further boost with a quick turn throttle twist grip, with only 65 degrees. This was developed to deliver improved throttle response, but also to reduce the rider’s wrist angle and elbow drop at full opening.
