Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Daniel Sanders has won the 2024 Rallye du Maroc. At the end of what has been a hugely successful event for the team with both riders on the podium, Sanders opened much of today’s stage five to ultimately secure the overall rally victory by just over 11 minutes. Luciano Benavides delivered a strong ride to place eighth-fastest over today’s 273-kilometer special to claim an impressive third place overall.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Daniel Sanders has secured his second consecutive stage win of the 2024 Rallye du Maroc with victory on day four. Opening the entire 315-kilometer timed special, the Australian now heads into the final day of racing in Morocco with an advantage of more than 21 minutes over the rest of the field. Luciano Benavides secured his best result of the event so far, placing third on the stage. The Argentinian now lies third overall with one more day to race.

Meanwhile, Luciano Benavides delivered a solid ride to secure the fifth-fastest time on the 327-kilometer special stage.

Combined with his result from Monday’s stage one, the KTM 450 RALLY racer lies second in the provisional overall standings, just 42 seconds behind the leader. Luciano Benavides also enjoyed a strong day in the Moroccan desert, placing fifth on the stage and moving up to third overall with three days left to race.

Making his competitive return to the team in Morocco, Sanders covered the 180 kilometers of timed special stage a mere 48 seconds behind the stage winner. Luciano Benavides, also making his return to Red Bull KTM, finished in a strong fourth place on the short but demanding stage.
