Nijedan drugi brend ne može da se meri sa uspehom KTM-a kad je reč o Enduru, i to je sasvim evidentni na najvećem takmičenju u kalendaru, "Međunarodinih šest dana Endura" (ISDE). Posle skromnih početaka, pretvorilo se to u u timsko svetsko prvensntvo Enduro scene. Ovasj Enduro maraton zahteva podjednako mnogo od motocikala koliko i od vozača, i svake godine više od polovine njih pojavljuju se sa narandžasrtom bojom. 2021  KTM SIX DAYS modeli odaju ultimativnu počast događaju koji je prvobitno trebalo da se odigra u Italiji 2020. ali je morao da bude oidložen za 2021. Lanac je jak koliko njegova najslabija karika, tako da nema kompromisa za one koji su naumili da pređu liniju finiša. KTM se još jednom pokazuje dostojnim izazova najnovijom, ograničenom Six Days edicijom ekstra izdržljivih mašina. Kompaktnih dimenzija, najsnažniji predstavnik u svojoj klasi, KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS ima DOHC motor sa direktnim ubrizgavanjem i najsnažniji je agregat u klase od 250 cc na tržištu. Velike količine snage dostupne su u celom opsegu skale obrtaja dok je težina svedena na samo 27.9 kg, tako da od ovoga nećete naći lakši i konkurentniji agregat na tržištu. Euro IV homologacija brine se da okolina ostane zelena, a konkurencija, zelena od zavisti.

Kod modela KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS motor je opremljen kompaktnom DOHC glavom cilindra radi optimalne centralizacije mase, što doprinosi još boljoj upravljivosti. Konfiguracija sa 2 bregaste osovine u glavi motora efikasno kontroliše protok kroz usisne ventile, i garantuje neverovatne enduro karakteristike motora. Liveno pod visokim pritiskom, kompaktno kućište motora sada je znatno lakše ali je zadržalo svu snagu i izdržljivost. Dizajnom je predviđena izrazito centralizovana konfiguracija radilice, motor je kratak i kompaktan, i znatno doprinosi efikasnoj centralizaciji težišta. Osim toga, pametna površinska struktura poklopca motora koja smanjuje habanje nastalo u kontaktu sa vozačevim čizmama, te se čini da je površina sveža i nova kao i prvog dana. Osim toga, zaštita štiti motor od oštećenja, čak i na najekstremnijim terenima.

Transmission

Kod modela KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS ugrađen je robusni 6-stepeni menjač koji je izradio PANKL Racing Sistems. Kovani zupčanici izrađeni su od vrhunske sirovine koja garantuje najviši nivo izdržljivosti i pouzdanosti. Potrebe za promenom prenosnih odnosa nije bilo jer su savršeno usklađeni sa karakteristikama i snagom motora. Svi četvorotaktni motori opremljeni su senzorom prenosa, što motoru omogućava različite karakteristike za svaki stepen prenosa.

Engine management system

Vrhunska centrala motora Keihin, sa elektronskim ubrizgavanjem goriva, i ventilom od 42 mm ima i odvojene sisteme za hladan start i podešavanje rada u praznom hodu. Nosač kablova na leptiru gasa je pristupačan i olakšava usmeravanje kablova. Elektronska centrala motora sa mapama koje možete birati prema podešavanjima, optimizovanim prema sistemu izduva, kućištu za vazduh i konfiguraciji motora, reguliše kontrolu prianjanja a aktivira se pomoću prekidača za odabir mape rada na upravljaču. Svaki stepen prenosa je drugačije mapiran, u skladu sa informacijama dobijenim od senzora prenosa, uz garantovanu maksimalnu snagu dok menjate stepene prenosa.

Unutar kratkog cilindra prečnika od 78 mm nalazi se izuzetno lagan, kovani klip iza čije izrade stoji oznaka CP. Posebno oblikovani klip savršeno je prilagođen komori za sagorevanje. Zahvaljujući ovako laganoj konstrukciji, oscilirajuće mase su male, te motor ima izuzetno živahne karakteristike. Stepen kompresije od 13.8:1 obezbeđuje izvanredne performanse i smanjuje mogućnost pojave praznih detonacija.

Balancer shaft

Multifunkcionalni bočno postavljeni kontra-teg savršeno uravnotežuje sve oscilacione sile, i istovremeno pokreće pumpu za vodu. Efikasno smanjuje vibracije motora na minimum, a rezultat je veoma uglađena vožnja čak i pri visokim brzinama motora.

Clutch

Frame

All EXC models feature high-tech, lightweight chromoly steel frames. This includes hydro-formed elements produced by state-of-the-art robot welding. With its race-proven geometries and optimal stiffness, the frame provides great feedback for the rider, playful handling and remarkable stability. The laterally attached engine head stays (the connection between cylinder, head and frame) are made of aluminum, reducing vibration and further contributing to precise cornering. The bikes also feature lateral frame guards with a structured surface, improving grip, while also serving as a heat protector against the muffler on the right side. The subframe is made of extra-light and stable aluminum profiles, weighing less than 900 gr, providing great rear fender stability.

Swingarm

The KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS' one-piece aluminum swingarm is manufactured using a gravity die-cast production process, offering exceptional strength at the lowest possible weight. The single-component casting process offers low weight, perfect flex behavior and also allows for a large number of geometry solutions.

Wheels

KTM uses lightweight, CNC-machined hubs and high-end GIANT rims on all Enduro models, guaranteeing maximum stability and minimum weight. The aluminum spoke nipples feature an innovative design, which conveniently reduces the frequency with which the spokes need to be tightened.

Front suspension

All EXC models are fitted with the latest 48 mm diameter WP XPLOR upside-down forks, featuring a split fork design developed by WP and KTM. While each side is fitted with springs, they have separate damping functions. Compression damping is on the left and the rebound on the right. Both can easily be adjusted via the dials on top of both fork tubes with 30 clicks each. Although already distinguished for outstanding response and damping characteristics, the fork features a calibrated mid-valve piston for consistent damping. The settings keep the front end higher in the stroke, providing impressive reserves against bottoming out.

Rear suspension

The WP XPLOR shock absorber is the key element on the proven PDS rear suspension design (progressive damping system), where the shock is directly linked to the swingarm without an additional linkage system. This keeps weight lower and reduces the chances of hooking on rocks. Optimal enduro-specific damping progression is achieved by using a second damping piston in combination with a closed cup towards the end of the stroke, and supported by a progressive shock spring. The settings on the XPLOR PDS shock provide impressive damping characteristics and match the frame and front-end set-up perfectly. It is fully adjustable, including high and low-speed compression, so you can set the shock up to suit any track, trail and rider preferences.

These high-tech Brembo brakes are combined with lightweight Wave brake discs (Solid rear and floating front). You couldn't brake any harder or with better feel on an offroad motorcycle. For additional strength and reliability, the rear brake pedal is secured with a safety wire.

All models in the EXC range are fitted with lightweight polyethylene tanks improving the ergonomics. The ¼‐turn bayonet filler cap makes for quick and easy closure. Manufactured using see‐through plastic, you will always be able to see how much fuel remains at a glance. It is fitted with an integrated fuel pump system and a fuel level sensor. Additionally, the fuel line features a 90° connector to the tank for better protection against damage.

Airbox

The airbox on the KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS ensures optimal flow dynamics, and together with the intake snorkels, results in optimal power and throttle response. Despite the obvious performance enhancements, the design also offers maximum protection against soiling of the air filter.The large Twin-Air air filter is mounted on a cleverly designed stiff cage that minimizes incorrect installation. As found on previous models, filter maintenance is quick and easy and does not require tools - a standard, original feature from KTM.

Handlebar

All SIX DAYS models are equipped with the same high-strength aluminum tapered handlebar, that can be mounted in four different positions. The handlebars come standard with an ODI vulcanized grip on the right side and a comfortable ODI lock-on grip, which does not require any wire or glue, on the left. Just in case you needed reminding that you were on a special machine, the handlebars feature the SIXDAYS logo.

Footpegs

Sophisticated ´No-Dirt´ footpegs prevent clogging up the pegs, even when digging in deep ruts. The pegs on the Enduro models are 6mm higher than the ones used on SX models, which benefits ground clearance. But you can swap them at will.

Handlebar

All SIX DAYS models are equipped with the same high-strength aluminum tapered handlebar, that can be mounted in four different positions. The handlebars come standard with an ODI vulcanized grip on the right side and a comfortable ODI lock-on grip, which does not require any wire or glue, on the left.
