Any rider will know and recognize the special feeling of torque, confidence and excitement simply by opening a KTM throttle. There are times however when riders or racers will want a little more, or a little less. This is where the useful Ride Modes allow customization through variations of traction control, throttle response and other electronics influencing power delivery. The traditional options across the range include: ‘SPORT’ (has the most direct throttle control, allows respectable drifts and a perceptible amount of slippage) ‘STREET’ (keeps things smooth for comfortable, controllable riding) ‘RAIN’ (all about early intervention and maximum grip in the wet) ‘OFFROAD’ (ride-by-wire limits the throttle response and peak power for more wheelspin/slip on the rear wheel) ‘TRACK’ (customize your ride, dial down the traction control, smooth out the throttle, switch off the anti-wheelie). ‘PERFORMANCE’ (as customizable as TRACK, it offers extra connectivity features that fit perfectly to dynamic street riding). Each mode can be easily selected (and tweaked further) thanks to the intuitive handlebar switch and clear TFT display.
