    KTM ADVENTURE RALLY

    The KTM ADVENTURE RALLY was born in the United States over twenty years ago and has grown into a globally recognized annual event. It has been hosted in countries such as Norway, Italy, Australia, Greece, New Zealand, the United States, Portugal, Canada, China, and South Africa, among others.

    This experience offers the global motorcycling community a unique and unparalleled way to connect. It’s not a competition — it’s a celebration of the true spirit of adventure motorcycling.

    2024 KTM COLOMBIA ADVENTURE RALLY

    In 2024, the KTM ADVENTURE RALLY came to Latin America for the first time ,and Colombia was the chosen destination. Over 150 riders gathered in Barichara for an event that set a new standard in the region.

    Special guests such as Gio Sala and Luciano Benavides joined participants from more than ten countries to test their machines and discover the landscapes of Santander.

    2025 KTM COLOMBIA ADVENTURE RALLY 

    Second Edition. New Terrain.

    This time, the rally heads to a different region of Colombia — four days designed to bring the KTM community together with a clear mission: to explore Colombia as a land made for adventure. The 2025 KTM COLOMBIA ADVENTURE RALLY will take place in Boyacá — a region of unpredictable terrain, rich contrasts, and hidden trails. Expect paths that don’t appear on maps, mist-covered highlands, steep climbs, unexpected deserts, and colonial towns frozen in time.

    KTM ADVENTURE RALLY BASECAMP

    Just 3 km from Villa de Leyva’s main square, the KTM Basecamp will be the heartbeat of the rally, the place where every day's adventure begins.

    Basecamp will offer:

    • Bike wash area
    • Partner zone
    • Hydration and information point
    • Medical station
    • Registration area
    • Technical check zone
    • Workshop for quick adjustments (by certified technicians)
    • Orange Shop with official KTM gear and accessories

    Villa de Leyva is not only easily accessible — it’s also a preserved colonial gem, maintaining its architecture and traditions since 1572. It will serve as the perfect base of operations for KTM ADVENTURE RALLY 2025 — a starting point infused with Boyacá’s adventurous spirit.

     

    THE ROUTES

    Each day offers two route options:

    • One for riders seeking a high-level technical challenge
    • One for those who prefer a more relaxed experience, blending tourism and adventure

    Routes are rated on a 3-to-5 chili pepper scale according to difficulty, so each rider can choose the path that best suits their skill level and style.

    Each route includes:

    • Hydration and food stations
    • Checkpoints
    • Specialized route guides
    • Full logistical, mechanical, and medical support

    A full media crew will capture the most thrilling moments, unforgettable images, and the stories that only the road can tell.

    EVENT OVERVIEW

    • 150 Riders (maximum capacity)

    SCHEDULE

    NOVEMBER 13

    Registration & Kick-Off

    Thursday, November 13 is reserved for official registration at Basecamp (9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.). This is the deadline for all riders to complete registration.

    Activities include:

    • Group assignments
    • Welcome kit distribution
    • Technical checks
    • Official opening dinner at 8:00 p.m.

    NOVEMBER 14–16

    From the moment each day begins, the 2025 KTM COLOMBIA ADVENTURE RALLY immerses riders in the experience. And the adventure doesn’t stop when the engines are off — each evening, the community returns to Basecamp to share stories and prepare for the next day.

    Daily Schedule

    • 6:00 a.m. – Meet at Basecamp
    • 7:00 a.m. – First group departs
    • 6:00 p.m. – Return to Basecamp + special evening activities
    • 7:00 p.m. – Dinner + next-day route briefing

    Groups will be led by expert riders, ensuring a safe pace and focused exploration without missing a thing.

    This rally is not just about riding, it’s about community, experience, and memories that last.

    PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Eligible KTM ADVENTURE motorcycle (see list below)
    • Valid motorcycle license, registration, SOAT (insurance), and ID
    • Health insurance (EPS) and emergency contact
    • Proper riding gear (listed below)
    • Off-road capable tires (more details after booking)

    MANDATORY RIDING GEAR

    • Full-face helmet
    • Jacket and pants with protection and ventilation (expected temps: 11–25°C)
    • High-top boots (Enduro/off-road/dual-purpose)
    • Gloves and goggles/glasses
    • Hydration backpack (minimum 2 liters; routes range from 110–150 km)

    All listed gear is mandatory. KTM reserves the right to deny participation if requirements are not met.

    COMPANIONS

    While riders are on the road, companions can enjoy:

    • Dinners on November 14, 15, and 16
    • Basecamp activities
    • Access to event photos and videos

    Not Included for Companions:

    • Accommodation
    • Breakfasts 
    • Motorcycle access or riding
