The Motocross World Championship, known as MXGP since 2014, started in 1957 and is one of the hardest and most physical motorsports. KTM's history in MXGP began in the 1970s, with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing being a top team. They have won 15 MX2 titles with the KTM 250 SX-F and 8 MXGP championships with the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 350 SX-F since 2010.
Red Bull KTM's team size has varied, currently featuring four riders. MX2, for riders under 23, is a stepping stone to MXGP. Each class has two 30-minute motos per Grand Prix, plus a Saturday Qualification Heat with points.
For 2024, the lineup remains the same: Jeffrey Herlings on the KTM 450 SX-F, and Andrea Adamo, Liam Everts, and Sacha Coenen on the KTM 250 SX-F in MX2. The MXGP schedule includes 20 rounds in 15 countries, ending in September with the FIM Motocross of Nations.
For 2024 the Red Bull KTM North American wing will enter 2023 450SX Champion Chase Sexton, who will make his debut in the new orange colours, partnered by Aaron Plessinger on the 450SX-F. In the 250 division, former MX2 World Champion, Tom Vialle will enter his second season of AMA racing, alongside new teammate Julien Beaumer.
ABOUT JEFFREY 5-time World Champion Jeffrey Herlings, known as ‘the Bullet’, is a Dutch motocross rider and one of the longest serving Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders to date. Herlings is one of the most dominant figures in the world of motocross, known for his unmatched speed and fearless riding style, especially in the sand. After making his MX2 season debut in 2010, it took Herlings just two years to win his first world title in 2012, followed by two more MX2 championships in 2013 and 2016. After making the move up to the premier class, Herlings also conquered the MXGP class to win the world championship in 2018 and 2021. With 5-titles to his name, Herlings has no plans to slow down as he continues his fight for world title number six.
ABOUT ANDREA Andrea Adamo is an Italian Motocross rider from Sicily who competes in the FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship aboard the 250 SX-F. In 2021, Adamo completed his first full season in MX2 and by the following year became a member of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team and was challenging for podium positions. In 2023, Adamo achieved his career highlight by clinching the MX2 World Championship, solidifying his place as one of Italy's top motocross athletes. 2025 will see Adamo’s third season with the team with the goal of adding another world title to his name.
ABOUT SACHA Sacha Coenen is a Belgian-born Motocross rider for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing De Carli. One half of the powerful Coenen-twin duo, Sacha has gained attention for his remarkable skills and fierce determination. Debuting in the FIM MX2 World Championship at young age, Coenen has already two GP victories under his belt, making him one of the top competitors in the class. 2025 will be another opportunity for Coenen to chase victories and podiums.

SUPERCROSS
The SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) is the premier dirt bike competition in the United States. Merging the 17-round AMA Supercross Championship and the 11-round AMA Pro Motocross Championship, topped with the SMX Playoffs and Finals, held in September. Supercross races in MLB and NFL stadiums across North America from January to May, featuring events like the Triple Crown and categories such as 450SX and regional 250SX divisions, while Pro Motocross, with 450MX and 250MX classes, follows in summer.
KTM has achieved a total of four titles in the premier Supercross class with the KTM 450 SX-F and three with the KTM 250 SX-F in the 250 division. Alongside four Pro Motocross titles across the 450 (3) and 250 (1) divisions. The 2025 line-up for Supercross and Pro Motocross includes 2023 450SX Champion and defending 450MX Champion, Chase Sexton, alongside teammate Aaron Plessinger on the KTM 450 SX-F. While in the 250 division, defending Supercross 250 East Champion, Tom Vialle, alongside 2024’s Rookie of the Year, Julien Beaumer, who will fight for victories on the KTM 250 SX-F.
ABOUT CHASE Chase Sexton is an American Supercross and Motocross rider, competing at the highest level in the 450 class aboard the 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. Sexton, already a Champion in both Supercross (2023) and Pro Motocross (2024) will be lining up behind the gate in 2025, READY TO RACE for more titles together with his Red Bull KTM Factory Racing crew.
ABOUT AARON Aaron Plessinger is an American Supercross and Motocross rider from Hamilton, OH. Plessinger began racing professionally in 2015 and just three years later secured his first Supercross title (250 West). Now back for his fourth term at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Plessinger will be looking to chase more titles and podiums aboard his 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION.
ABOUT TOM Tom Vialle is a French Supercross and Motocross rider from Avignon, France. Vialle first made a name for himself in Europe, after winning two MX2 World Championship titles together with KTM. Once Europe was conquered, the Frenchman set his sights on success across the Atlantic Ocean. Much like his idol Marvin Musquin (former Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider), Vialle was able to translate his European success over in the US to become the 2024 Supercross 250 East Champion! 2025 will be Vialle’s third season in America, as he continues upon his mission of success together with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.
ABOUT JULIEN Julien Beaumer is an American Supercross and Motocross rider from Lake Havasu City, AZ. Beaumer made his professional 250 debut in 2023 on board the 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION, a season that saw him finish well inside the top 10 and podium at the SMX Play-off two, in Texas. Looking to build upon the lessons of his rookie season, Beaumer will be READY TO RACE for top results in 2025.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing obtained two points-scoring performances to close the MotoGP season in fine style at the twentieth and last round of the year at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Brad Binder raced the KTM RC16 to a brilliant 6th place from P18 on the grid and finished top five for 2024. Jack Miller scored 13th as KTM is confirmed as the second-best Constructor. Meanwhile the KTM GP Academy sealed the campaign with a best result of 4th by Jose Rueda Antonio in Moto3™ and with Celestino Vietti 7th in the Moto2™ championship for Red Bull KTM Ajo. Binder rounds-out the year with 5th in the championship and a total of five top-five finishes Miller ends a two-season term with the crew with a hard push to 13th and is 14th in the standings Jose Antonio Rueda scores 4th the KTM RC4 in Moto3™ to claim 7th in the championship as Alvaro Carpe makes his debut and Celestino Vietti is also 7th overall in the Moto2™ standings Sunshine blanketed the 14-corner layout outside the Catalan capital and the Grand Prix arranged in solidarity for the flood victims of the Valencia region; home of the last round that was cancelled just over two weeks ago. Binder and Miller both had their work cut out with grid slots of 18th and 19th but Brad had already made a nine position gain to grasp the last Sprint point on Saturday and edge to within two points of 5th in the championship standings. The Grand Prix ran for 24-laps on Sunday afternoon and both Binder and Miller could rely on the usual starting prowess of the KTM RC16 package. Grip and traction were issues that had to be managed across the notoriously slick Catalan asphalt. Binder ended the first lap already inside the top ten. Miller gained ground to 15th. Brad fought hard and grabbed more positions as he extended his race pace while others suffered with grip. He reached 6th and was just 7 seconds away from the winner. Jack also combed the limits and banked 3 points for 13th. Red Bull KTM drew a line under their eighth year in the premier class with a podium trophy and a top five finish in the championship as well as standing P2 in the Constructor’s contest. 2025 testing begins on Tuesday with Pedro Acosta stepping into the crew alongside Binder. Brad Binder, 6th : “I was happy with today’s race. I knew it was really important to get the tire until the end so I tried not to get too carried away at the beginning. I was quite pleased; I would have liked to have been a bit further forward but coming from 18th it is hard to ask for much more. Thank you to my team. We signed-off by finishing the race and putting some points on the board. I think both KTM and I wanted more but I gave my all from the first laps of testing until the last laps today. Augusto Fernandez (ESP) GASGAS, 27 KTM GP Academy Jose Antonio Rueda and Xabi Zurutuza were joined on the KTM RC4 in Barcelona by 2024 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Champion Alvaro Carpe as the young Spaniard made his Grand Prix debut. Rueda was trying to lock away a top-seven championship finish (in a second Moto3 season that has included his maiden Grand Prix victory) and bustled his way into the group during the first stages of the 18-lap race. Two seconds split the first ten runners and Jose Antonio was firmly in the mix. After the bumping and barging, Rueda passed the line in 5th and was elevated to 4th after post-race penalties. The points ensured P7 for the season. Zurutuza finished 22nd and closed a debut year with 23rd place for the season and a best result of 8th. Carpe, who will join the team next to Rueda for 2025, was 19th. In Moto2 Celestino Vietti has qualified only a few tenths from Pole Position and lined up on the third row in 8th. Deniz Öncü could not escape out of Q1 and started 20th for the 21 laps and with hopes of bringing a bright but eventful first season of progress in the intermediate class to the flag. Vietti probed for possibilities with the leaders on the first lap but was hit by another rider while braking for Turn 1 at the start of lap two and was sent out of the race. Öncü was lucky to stay onboard in the same incident but then ran wide of track limits and was penalized with a Long Lap. The Turk kept going and took the flag in 22nd, later raised to 21st upon an infringement from another rider. Vietti and Öncü confirmed 7th and 20th positions in the championship.
