Brad Binder is already one of the best and most successful Grand Prix racers from South Africa. 2025 will be his fourteenth season in the world championship and his sixth in the MotoGP category. The journey started back in 2012, and by 2016 Brad had won the Moto3 title in what was his second term with the Red Bull KTM Ajo setup. Brad notched 7 wins and nearly 20 podiums for Aki Ajo’s team before moving to Moto2 in 2017 with the same crew, where he grasped another 8 victories and 15 top-three appearances and came very close to another crown. The successful collaboration with KTM thus far means that 2025 will be his eleventh year in Red Bull KTM orange colors. Binder will always hold a special place in KTM racing history thanks to his triumph at the 2020 Grand Prix of Czech Republic in his MotoGP rookie season that marked the inaugural ‘P1’ for the KTM RC16 in the premier class. He classified 11th that year and then worked his way to 6th in 2021 (including a thrilling home success at the Red Bull Ring in Austria) and 6th again in 2022 before rising to 4th for 2023. In 2024, Binder continued to solidify his reputation as one of the sport’s top competitors, consistently battling at the front and demonstrating his skill and determination. As he looks ahead to 2025, Binder remains a key figure for KTM and a formidable presence on the MotoGP grid.
