The 2025 Moto3 world champion and Moto2 rookie for 2026. José Antonio Rueda seamlessly adapted to KTM Moto3 machinery in 2022, winning both the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the FIM JuniorGP titles—a historic ‘first’. This exceptional performance secured him a seat with Red Bull KTM Ajo for 2023, where the teenage debutant achieved 11 top ten Grand Prix finishes and a maiden podium at Catalunya, finishing 9th overall. In 2024, Rueda continued to impress, notably securing his first Grand Prix victory at the Aragon GP, becoming the 400th different winner in history. Jose Antonio battled illness and injury along the way but concluded the season 7th in the standings, demonstrating significant growth. Fit and firing, 2025 was Rueda’s Moto3 opus. He won 10 races and appeared on the podium four more times to grasp the title at 20 years of age. Rueda’s excellence forged the next step for his career and the transition to Moto2 where he will remain with the Red Bull KTM Ajo crew.
