There are 2 different rally routes suiting different skill levels. Both classes will be riding towards the same goal of achieving the closest final mileage possible. Mileage will be calculated according to the KTM predetermined routes (R1 and R2). Overall team results will be shared during the award ceremony on Saturday night.
The “R1” class is designed for teams of 2 to 4 who are ready to ride adventurous terrain following the GPS route precisely! Your team will need to conquer 2 long and adventurous days on a course that will be variable and challenging with some elevations, rocks and logs. Be prepared for tough single track and possible mud riding.
IMPORTANT: Knobby tires are mandatory to ride in the “R1” Class. (Dunlop 908 Rally raid, Mitas MT-09 or similar design).
The “R2” class is designed for teams of 2 to 4 riders ready to work their way through double track trails, gravel routes for 2 days following your GPS precisely. The route will have you travelling through some majestic territories. Knobby Tires are also highly recommended to ride in this class. (TKC 80, Heidenau K60, Bridgestone Battlax, or similar design).
IMPORTANT: At least one GPS per team is mandatory. We strongly suggest one GPS per rider. Ensure your batteries are charged, you’ve tested your unit and you have your wires.
We recommend the Garmin motorcycle GPS. Or a GPS that can work offline with no cellular service and read and follow a .gpx or Garmin track.
*GPS training / refresher will be given to every participant at the rider’s meeting on Thursday night.
*GPS route upload station will also be available at registration. (in .gpx and Garmin format)
