Álvaro Carpe announced his Moto3 credentials in fine (and fast) fashion in 2025 by finishing on the podium in his first Grand Prix in Thailand. His instant impact was not a great surprise. The Spaniard ranked P2 in his maiden attempt at the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2023 and then he clinched the title as well as the FIM JuniorGP World Championship in 2024; following the ‘double’ template and high standards set by 2025 Red Bull KTM Ajo teammate Jose Antonio Rueda. His ability to overcome adversity and maintain focus under pressure highlighted his promising racing acumen as well as a tendency towards rapid adaptation. 2025 was the longest and most demanding season of his young career to-date but Álvaro reached distinction as a solid top-five candidate, and bagged another four podiums in his first Moto3 term. A deserving 4th in the championship was his reward, along with billing as a title favorite for 2026.
