More top results for Teichmann Racing in the Nürburgring Endurance Series

  • Overall twelfth place and class victory for Jeroen Bleekemolen, Constantin Schöll and Hendrik Still
  • Georg Griesemann, Maik Rönnefarth and Yves Volte (KTM X-BOW GT4) complete podium in the CUPX class
  • Former DTM driver Bleekemolen thrilled by first race in KTM X-BOW GTX

Nürburgring Endurance Series fans thoroughly enjoyed themselves during the season’s eighth race, but it wasn’t just because of the sunny weather. Highlights of the race were definitely the nip and tuck fights in the CUPX class assigned to KTM cars.

A team-internal duel saw Jeroen Bleekemolen, Constantin Schöll and Hendrik Still gaining the upper hand, delivering another strong result for Teichmann Racing with their twelfth place. Following the trio over the finish line were Reinhard Kofler, Timo Mölig and Daniel Bohr in the sister car. Both cars delivered a close battle for the class lead throughout the entire race.

“Training a day earlier went very well indeed and we were able to make an optimistic start to the race day,” says Constantin Schöll. The 23-year-old’s positive feeling turned out to be for real in the race and his fighting spirit made a huge impression. He emerged victorious from an enthralling fight with Reinhard Kofler in the first hour of the race and laid the foundations for a class win. “After starting from second position, I was able to prevail against Reini and pass on the car in a number one position,” the Teichmann driver states. Hendrik Still and Jeroen Bleekemolen tied in with this strong initial phase and secured the overall twelfth as a result. Taking a look at the race results shows how close the two trios were: a mere 65 seconds separated the two KTM X-BOW GTXs at the end of the four-hour endurance race.

There was reason enough, especially for Jeroen Bleekemolen, to be pleased with the outcome: “That was my debut in the X-BOW, so what can I say? It was really cool and good fun,” said the happy stalwart from the Netherlands. “We were able to push from start to finish. The Teichmann crew prepared the car perfectly and everything ran without disruptions. That certainly wasn’t my last race with KTM – that’s for sure!”

It was Teichmann Racing’s second-to-last race in the Nürburgring Endurance Series season. The Adenau-based squad clocked up numerous successes in 2021, which basically was thanks to the drivers of both KTM X-BOW GT4s. While Georg Griesemann, Maik Rönnefarth and Yves Volte took a third in the CUPX class, Stephan Brodmerkel, Karl Heinz Teichmann and Tamino Bergmeier ranked fourth.
