Cylinder head

Exactly like on our LC8 engines, the four valves in the cylinder head of the KTM RC 200 are actuated by two overhead camshafts and ultra-hard, carbon coated cam followers, providing reliability and longevity despite the engine's high power output.

Injection

The intricate engine design, state-of-the-art injection electronics and the close-ratio, 6-speed transmission not only help the KTM RC 200 to achieve impressive performance, but also extremely low fuel consumption. At the same time, thanks to the regulated catalytic converter, it produces minimal emissions.

Engine

The state-of-the-art, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with twin overhead camshafts and electronic fuel injection, provides outstanding power on the open road and thanks to the balancer shaft, delivers the highest levels of smoothness around city streets. The engine is equipped with an electric starter and achieves its peak power of 19 kW (26 hp) with incredibly punchy torque. Perfect for riders who like to leave traffic in their wake.

Exhaust

The compact underbelly, three-chamber silencer is positioned close to the bike's overall center of gravity. This helps keep the bike's balance centered and eliminates any chance of accidental contact between the exhaust and both the rider's and passenger's legs.

The forged aluminum triple clamps give the KTM RC 200 that reallife factory look. Strong, reliable and lightweight, these clamps work perfectly with the clip-on handlebars to guarantee a pure supersport racing feel.

As light as they are stable, the eye-catching 17 inch orange cast alloy wheels bring the whole bike together, with a 110 mm wide wheel at the front and an impressive 150 mm at the rear. The KTM RC 200 features a sleek, steel fuel tank with a 10 liter capacity (including a 1.5 liter reserve tank). The tank has been developed to perfectly match the supersport style of the KTM RC 200 with smooth rider ergonomics. Thanks to the economical engine, the KTM RC 200 offers considerable range with this tank, even when riding in full sport mode all day long.
