FULL KTM SX LOOK
GRAPHICS
Using the full-sized KTM SX range as a guideline, the 2027 KTM SX E-2.12 features modern, striking graphics in typical "big bike" fashion. The graphics are also applied using an in-mold process, ensuring the best durability and quality for many years of offroad action.
BIG BIKE DESIGN
CHASSIS
Built tough to last, the KTM SX-E 2.12 chassis boasts an impressive list of construction materials. The upper triple-clamp, handlebar clamps, footrest carrier, and brake components are made of high-end forged aluminum alloys, while the lower triple clamps and the shaft are crafted from forged chromoly steel. The swingarm and skid plate complete the list, made from HPDC aluminum alloy.
BUILT TOUGH
FRAME
Built around a center tube Aluminum Extrusion Frame, the 2027 KTM SX-E 2.12 features a design concept that reduces the number of components needed to ensure fewer connections for maximum durability and chassis rigidity. For the KTM SX-E 2.12, the frame geometry has been adapted to accommodate the larger front wheel and provide proportionally revised ergonomics for taller riders.
ALL-OUT ACTION
SUSPENSION
Ready to tackle challenging track conditions, the KTM SX-E 2.12 features a WP hydraulic fork matched to a preload-adjustable WP monoshock. Together with the updated front-end package, the suspension setup complements the KTM SX-E 2.12's revised geometry and larger front wheel for confident handling and control.
MASTER THE TRACK
WHEELS AND TIRES
A larger 12-inch front wheel paired with a 10-inch rear wheel provides a balanced and confidence-inspiring setup for taller young riders. Lightweight black powder-coated aluminum HPDC rims provide trouble-free durability, while KENDA Trakmaster tires deliver dependable grip across a wide variety of riding conditions.
BALANCE POINT
ADJUSTABLE SEAT HEIGHT
Designed specifically for taller young riders, the KTM SX-E 2.12 features a higher riding position with a two-level adjustable seat height of 536 mm and 566 mm. More than simply raising the bike, the KTM SX-E 2.12 benefits from proportionally revised ergonomics, with 52 mm of the additional height located between the seat and footpegs.. This creates a natural riding position while allowing growing riders to stay comfortable and in control as their confidence and skills develop.
STOPPING POWER
BRAKES
A set of radial, hydraulic 140 mm disk brakes on the front and rear ensure ample stopping power when the going gets too fast. Also, the hand levers are adjustable to fit smaller hand sizes, with the brake pads being compatible with high-end market bicycle brake pads for easy availability.
PERFECTLY MADE TO MATCH
CONTROLS
The black anodized, aluminum alloy handlebars feature a reduced diameter grip area for the perfect ergonomic grip for little hands. The width and bend were also specifically developed for easy steering while ensuring a firm grip and control of the KTM SX-E 2.12. The ODI lock-on handgrips also feature a slim diameter to further improve control and feel through the bars.
EASY TO HANDLE
LIGHT WEIGHT
Weighing in at 27 kg, the KTM SX-E 2.12 feels like a real, bigger motorcycle, while still providing easy handling. The combination of weight and agility provides a planted, more secure feeling as the speed builds, and is better suited to bigger, harder bumps. At less than 30 kg, the KTM SX-E 2.12 can also be easily transported to and from riding locations.

02. CONTROLLED POWER
CHARGED UP
MOTOR AND POWER
Providing the forward drive for the KTM SX-E 2.12 is a lightweight, maintenance-free 1.8 kW HUB Motor which delivers a maximum of 50 Nm. The "HUB-Motor-Concept" is void of additional parts like chains or sprockets, helping to keep the weight low and providing extra security in the event of a crash. The controller is also integrated within the motor packaging, guaranteeing a fast but controllable power delivery.
CHARGED UP
CHARGER
An external charger supplying up to 500 W can be connected to any 110- or 230-Volt socket and plugs directly into the battery pack for easy charging. Charging time from 0 - 80% take approximately 35 minutes, with a full 100% charge achieved in less than 60 minutes.
STAY SAFE
SAFETY
Making sure your little ripper is as safe as possible is a top priority. For that reason, the KTM SX E-2.12 is fitted with a roll-over sensor that cuts power in the event of a crash or tip-over. A wrist lanyard key also provides a direct connection between the riders and the kill switch, which stops the motor in the event of an uncontrollable riding scenario.
PICK YOUR POWER
MULTIFUNCTIONAL THROTTLE
As an added safety feature to ensure the KTM SX-E 2.12 doesn't pull away without warning, the electric motor is activated by rolling the throttle forward. Once on, a haptic 'vibration' is sent through the grip, indicating to the rider that the bike is ready to go. This and an illuminated multifunctional display located next to the throttle makes keeping an eye on selected ride modes and battery life a breeze, with different colors indicating which ride mode is selected and what level the battery is at.
KEEP GOING
QUICK CHANGE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
Powering the KTM SX-E 2.12 is a quick-change Lithium-ion battery designed for proven durability and convenient everyday use. The battery can be swapped in one easy movement, providing benefits such as anti-ride protection, extended riding time when using multiple batteries, and straightforward replacement in the event of damage. What's more, all units are rated IP65 and are perfectly protected from wet riding conditions.
