    RALLY

    THREE FORCES. ONE TEAM.

Speed, endurance and precision navigation define rally-raid. From towering dunes to rocky tracks and open desert, riders follow a roadbook through demanding stages that push both rider and machine to the limit. The Dakar Rally is the sport’s ultimate test, while the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship takes the challenge across some of the world’s toughest terrain. Three riders bring different strengths to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. Together, Daniel Sanders, Luciano Benavides and Edgar Canet take on the world’s toughest terrain aboard the KTM 450 RALLY, united by one shared goal: to win.

In 2026, those strengths have delivered on the world’s toughest stages. Daniel Sanders - Wind - recovered from his Dakar setback to win in Portugal and Argentina, before finishing runner-up at Rallye du Maroc. His speed and consistency put him at the head of the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship heading into the final round.

Luciano Benavides - Stone - turned resilience into victory, returning from injury in 2025 at the Rallye du Maroc to claim his first Dakar Rally title by just two seconds in 2026. A stage win and fourth overall at Rallye du Maroc then moved the Argentine into second in the championship standings in 2026.

Edgar Canet – Fire - took a defining step in his RallyGP career by winning Rallye du Maroc 2026. His maiden victory in the category came through a week of precise navigation and consistent pace, leading home a Red Bull KTM one-two ahead of Sanders.

Three riders. Three distinct strengths. One team building on KTM’s Dakar heritage and pushing towards the next challenge. From the world championship to the next Dakar, the commitment remains the same: READY TO RACE. Building on their achievements throughout 2026, the team now looks ahead to 2027 - ready to take on a new season, the next Dakar and every challenge beyond.

ABOUT DANIEL Daniel “Chucky” Sanders thrives on forward motion. Fast, fluid and instinctive, he sweeps across open desert and flows through the dunes, building momentum with every kilometer. Representing Wind within Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s three elements, he brings speed, flow and endurance to the team’s shared pursuit of victory. The Australian’s confidence carries into his riding, where natural speed meets the precision demanded by rally-raid aboard the KTM 450 RALLY. With Australian off-road titles, an outright International Six Days of Enduro victory and multiple E3 class wins behind him, Daniel built his rally career on strong enduro foundations. After making the transition from enduro to rally, he steadily built experience, finishing fourth on his Dakar Rally debut in 2021 and claiming victory at the Sonora Rally in 2023. A win at Rallye du Maroc in 2024 with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing set the stage for a breakthrough 2025, when he won both the Dakar Rally and the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship title. In 2026, Chucky showed that momentum is about more than outright speed. A crash and broken collarbone at Dakar tested his resolve, but he reached the finish in fifth overall. He returned to winning form in Portugal and Argentina, then took runner-up honours at Rallye du Maroc. Those results put him at the head of the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship heading into the final round in Abu Dhabi. The next horizon is 2027. Bringing the lessons of a demanding season into the next challenge, Daniel is focused on turning speed, instinct and consistency into another push for Dakar victory and world championship success. Always moving forward. Always chasing the next horizon - READY TO RACE.

    Luciano Benavides

ABOUT LUCIANO Luciano Benavides is Stone: resilient, precise, and built to endure. Calm under pressure and measured in every move, the Argentinian absorbs the hardest impacts of rally-raid and keeps moving forward, building success through accuracy, persistence, and quiet strength. That resilience was tested by a serious crash at the 2025 Rallye du Maroc, where Luciano injured his knee. With Dakar only months away, few believed he would recover in time. He sacrificed, pushed through an intense rehabilitation, and arrived at the 2026 Dakar still not walking properly, but he was ready to race. What followed became one of the most dramatic stories in Dakar history. Over thousands of kilometers, Luciano combined speed, intelligent race management, and relentless belief to stay in the fight. Starting the final stage 3 minutes 20 seconds behind, he attacked to the last kilometer and seized his first Dakar victory by just two seconds - the closest finish the event has ever seen! From the crash in Morocco to the top step of the Dakar podium, Luciano proved exactly why he is Stone: unshaken, enduring, and strongest when the pressure is greatest. The Dakar victory set the tone for Luciano’s 2026 rally-raid season. He carried that confidence into the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship, returning to race in front of his home fans in Argentina and continuing to demonstrate the speed, control, and consistency of a rider established among the discipline’s elite. A new multi-year agreement with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing secured the next chapter of that journey. Looking ahead to 2027, Luciano arrives as the 2026 Dakar champion, determined to defend his position, fight for more victories, and keep pushing the limits of the KTM 450 RALLY.

ABOUT EDGAR Edgar Canet is represented as Fire: young, ambitious and driven by the hunger to win. Representing energy and explosive potential within Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s three elements, the Spaniard brings a fearless spark to the desert. Aboard the KTM 450 RALLY, his challenge is to turn that energy into controlled performance, combining speed with the patience, strategy and precision that rally-raid demands. Born in La Garriga, Barcelona, Edgar built his foundations in motocross, winning the Spanish MX85 Championship in 2019 before taking his ambition into rally racing. His first World Rally-Raid Championship appearances in 2024 showed his potential, with Rally2 podium finishes in Portugal, Argentina and Morocco setting the stage for a breakthrough season. In 2025, Edgar won the Rally2 category at his debut Dakar Rally and carried that momentum through the season. Four victories from five events secured the Rally2 World Cup title, confirming his readiness to take the next step into RallyGP. In 2026, Edgar made history at the Rallye du Maroc, becoming the youngest-ever winner in the RallyGP class at the event. His maiden premier-class victory came through a calculated, consistent ride, finishing every stage inside the top four. It was proof that his raw speed could be matched by intelligent navigation and race management, a landmark step in his progression from Rally2 champion to RallyGP contender. Looking towards 2027, Edgar’s focus is on building on that breakthrough: refining his navigation, strengthening his consistency and turning more experience into opportunities to fight for victory.
