Commonly Asked Questions
The KTM bike price in India depends mainly on four things: the model you choose, the engine size, the features fitted (such as ABS, traction control and adjustable suspension) and any accessories you add. Larger engines and feature-rich models cost more, and extras like luggage, performance parts or styling upgrades raise the final cost further. Prices can also vary by city and dealer, so confirm the ex-showroom price with your nearest KTM dealer before you decide.
Yes. KTM bikes come with a standard manufacturer's warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a set period or distance, whichever comes first. The exact coverage varies by model, and some parts may have their own warranty terms. Normal wear and tear, routine maintenance, and damage from accidents or improper use are not covered. Ask your KTM dealer for the exact warranty period on the model you are buying.
Yes. KTM's supersport range covers the superbike segment and includes the RC 390, RC 200 and RC 160. The RC 390 and RC GP are the most powerful, with a 373.3 cc engine producing 43.5 PS and 37 Nm. The RC 200 and RC 160 have smaller engines but still offer race-inspired ergonomics and advanced features. Check KTM India's website for the models currently on sale.
It depends on the model. KTM bikes are known for powerful engines, responsive handling and advanced features, which are exciting but can be demanding for someone new to riding. If you are just starting out, an entry-level or less powerful model gives you a smoother learning curve, and you can move up to a high-performance bike as your skills and confidence grow.
Naked bikes have no full fairings, so the engine and frame are visible, while sports bikes are fully faired with a more aggressive look. Naked bikes usually give you an upright, comfortable riding position, are lighter and more agile, offer better visibility and are easier to customise, which suits daily commuting and longer rides. Sports bikes put the rider in a forward-leaning stance and focus on aerodynamics and track-style performance.
Generally, yes. The upright riding position of a naked motorcycle reduces strain on your back and shoulders, and wide handlebars and a roomy seat let you change position to reduce fatigue. Comfort still depends on the specific model, your build and your preferences, so take a test ride and adjust the bike's setup before choosing it for long trips.
