Includere gli elementi che contribuiscono in modo diretto alle prestazioni e alla funzionalità del veicolo, eliminando tutto il resto. Selezionare i migliori fornitori dei componenti e utilizzare i materiali più robusti, leggeri e all'avanguardia.

Il telaio è stato sviluppato dalla casa automobilistica italiana Dallara e dall'azienda Wethje, specialista in materiali compositi. KTM Technologies e Audi, in qualità di partner per il motore, hanno perfezionato le performance mentre WP ha creato un sistema di sospensioni che offre una maneggevolezza eccezionale e un'agilità perfetta in curva.
La prima auto al mondo prodotta con una monoscocca completamente in fibra di carbonio. Prodotta dagli specialisti in fibre di carbonio Wethje, la monoscocca pesa appena 80 kg eppure i suoi livelli di sicurezza sono eccezionali. L'aerodinamica derivata dalle auto da corsa a ruote scoperte, sviluppata congiuntamente da KTM Technologies e Dallara, produce 100 kg di carico aerodinamico a 200 km/h, consentendo un'accelerazione laterale di fino a 2 G – superiore a quella di qualsiasi altra vettura da strada legale.
Quella che è probabilmente l'auto super sportiva più eccitante di tutti i tempi è stata prodotta in appena 18 mesi. La KTM X-BOW deve gran parte della sua unicità allo stile straordinario. Con il loro design, Gerald Kiska e il team KISKA hanno creato un'auto sportiva moderna che è diventata un'icona. Un'auto che combina forma e funzionalità.
Ogni centimetro della KTM X-BOW è pensato per veri e propri circuiti da corsa. Un motore Audi TFSI da 300 cv, 2,0 litri, utilizza l'iniezione diretta, combinando i vantaggi del turbocompressore a un raffreddamento estremamente efficace dell'aria di sovralimentazione. Grazie a una struttura modulare tipica del mondo delle corse, le riparazioni sono rapide, semplici e relativamente poco costose. Se la monoscocca rimane intatta durante l'impatto, tutte le altre parti danneggiate si svitano facilmente consentendo una sostituzione rapida. Pneumatici ripresi dalla Formula 1 e tecnologia delle sospensioni di Michelin e WP - con impostazioni regolabili per alta e bassa velocità, nonché smorzamento in estensione – il tutto a garanzia della massima maneggevolezza.
La nuova versione GT dell'auto super sportiva austriaca ha un aspetto ancora più largo, ribassato, più compatto e più potente. La versione con parabrezza e tetto in tela è pura, radicale ed è nata per le corse. Ora puoi toccare con mano, senza casco, la tecnologia di questa auto sportiva del XXI secolo. Un impianto di produzione rivoluzionario
Dal giugno del 2008 la KTM X-BOW viene prodotta in un impianto appositamente costruito a Graz. È uno degli impianti di produzione più moderni al mondo (tra quelli limitati a un solo veicolo) ed è stato costruito nel giro di qualche mese rispettando gli standard più moderni.
Logistica e tecnologia all'ultimo stato dell'arte
KTM ha sviluppato un ingegnoso sistema di stoccaggio, una speciale logistica di trasporto (comprendente contenitori progettati specificatamente per il trasporto delle costose parti in fibra di carbonio) e speciali tecnologie di assemblaggio.
Dalla fabbrica direttamente al circuito da corsa
Naturalmente saremo lieti di accogliere in qualsiasi momento a Graz clienti e chiunque fosse interessato – sia per comprare nuovi componenti ad alte prestazioni, o semplicemente per scoprire tutto quello che c'è da sapere sulla KTM X-BOW. Per tutti coloro che desiderano andare a prendere il proprio veicolo direttamente nello stabilimento di Graz, è prevista un'offerta speciale, con la supervisione in persona del responsabile di stabilimento Michael Wölfling: "Con la KTM X-BOW, non vendiamo semplicemente un'auto, ma un'esperienza unica. Ogni cliente potrà naturalmente effettuare una visita guidata del nostro stabilimento e chi lo desidera potrà osservare il proprio veicolo passare attraverso le ultime fasi di produzione – per poi mettersi al volante e iniziare la prima sessione del training di guida direttamente sul Red Bull Ring!

TECNOLOGIA X-BOW COLLAUDATA IN GARA
L'attuale piattaforma del motore TFSI da 2 litri sovralimentato della KTM X-BOW è stata mantenuta ed eroga quasi 320 CV. È abbinata a un cambio sequenziale Holinger a 6 marce con paddle al volante.
GEOMETRIA MODIFICATA E AERODINAMICA ECCEZIONALE
L'interasse è leggermente più lungo dell'X-Bow originale, per consentire una maneggevolezza più precisa in funzione delle competizioni e una migliore aerodinamica generale.
TECNOLOGIA DA COMPETIZIONE ALL'INSEGNA DELLA LEGGEREZZA
Dappertutto sono stati utilizzati materiali compositi high-tech. Monoscocca e pannelli della scocca in fibra di carbonio e, da cima a fondo, componenti specifici da competizione.

Reiter Young Stars
The Reiter Young Stars is the only program for up-and- coming young drivers in which industry partners (the sponsors) bring together marketing students, engineering students and young drivers who all jointly profit from the experience. The industry partners have an international advertising platform, which includes live TV and extensive media coverage, and also have access to more than 300,000 European students. The students in the program engage in an autonomous and very practical training with numerous additional workshops, while the drivers take part in an international GT motor racing series – all for only about €65,000. They compete with the KTM X-BOW GT4, currently the most modern and safest racing car in the world. What awaits the fastest male and female driver in the series is a fully financed season in the cockpit of a GT3 in the Blancpain GT Sprint Series.
KTM X-BOW CUP powered by Michelin
The VLN (Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring") is probably the most successful popular racing series, which, since 1977 has been run on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife. Different drivers, from amateur to professional, compete against each other in various classes in assorted vehicles ranging from series model touring cars to purebred prototype racing cars. The races last four hours, or in one exceptional case, for six hours, and are run on the Nordschleife in combination with the sprint section of the Grand Prix circuit over a 24,433 kilometer- long lap. In 2017, from the third race of the VLN racing series, there is an individual class called the “KTM X-BOW CUP powered by MICHELIN for the KTM X-BOW GT4. The competition offers attractive prizes during the season, and especially for the overall winner at the season’s end.
Creventic 24H Series
The "Creventic 24HSeries" came about as a result of the highly successful Dubai 24- hour race and has been launched on different racetracks worldwide. The emphasis is on Europe, and particularly on long-distance races over 12 or 24 hours. The field of starters can include everything from TCR touring cars to GT3 vehicles, which compete in different classes. The races sometimes have up to 100 starters. The KTM X-BOW GT4 is able to compete in a range of classes, depending on the BOP ("Balance of Performance"), and in recent years has won in some classes, picked up podium places and has also achieved impressive top 10 results in the midst of a GT3 cars field.
X-BOW Battle
The biggest and the most successful one-brand racing series in Europe has been bringing KTM X-BOW owners together at racing circuits since 2008. There they have the opportunity to compete against each other in the world’s most spectacular and fastest lightweight super sports car. In the meantime, in addition to the “Elite Class”, which is contested by the 360-hp KTM X-BOW RR models, there are two other racing series: a stand-alone “GT4” class with – nomen est omen - the KTM X-BOW GT4, and the entry-level “Rookies Challenge” series. Six X-BOW BATTLE events are held on Central Europe’s most beautiful circuits, with up to 60 vehicles per race weekend starting in the various classes.
X-BOW Rookies Challenge
Fair, transparent and cost-effective motor sport: The X-BOW Rookies Challenge offers the perfect platform for newcomers, amateurs and junior drivers to compete in one of the most attractive and safest racing cars in the world. The price for the complete package, which includes all expenses such as registration fees, tires, fuel, wear parts, support, preparation and follow-up, and the transport of a total of 20 identical vehicles, is sensational: from just € 25,000 (net, excluding insurance). With this, it is possible to take part in a total of 12 races on six different event weekends, and there is even a chance to compete in a one-hour endurance race at each event.
Pirelli World Challenge
North America’s biggest and most popular GT racing series is not only cooperating with the SRO, but has also set up with its own GTS-class a GT4 racing series. Races are in accordance with the rules (and the BOP) of the SRO Motorsports Group, and drivers contest two races each competition weekend. The Mantella Autosport and ANSA Motorsports teams won numerous podiums and also victories in the very first season in which the KTM X-BOW GT4 was able to start. ANSA driver Brett Sandberg even took the championship title in the "Pirelli World Challenge" at the end of the season, driving his KTM X-BOW GT4.
ENTRY LEVEL MOTORSPORTS
They say every beginning is difficult. But it doesn’t have to be because the KTM X- BOW is perfect for taking the first step into motor racing, or for sports driving on a circuit. On the one hand, the running costs during track time are limited due to the low weight and the clever conceptual design of this purebred racing vehicle. On the other, KTM offers numerous cost-effective opportunities to sample the world of motorsport. There are Track Days with half-hour turns that are organized directly by KTM, and the somewhat pepped up ‘Artbauer Race Days’ club sport races. It is also possible to compete with the KTM X-BOW on Austria’s Red Bull Ring at the "WISBI Don’t Crack Under Pressure Challenge", or in Austria’s biggest amateur race in both summer and winter with event organizers ‘razoon - more than racing’.
