    Almost twelve months ago at the desert-set racetrack KTM began their MotoGP adventure with Pol Espargaro finishing 16th and Bradley Smith taking 17th place. At the second round in Argentina both riders were in the points with their brand new RC16s. By the end of the term a total of seven top-ten classifications had been toasted with test rider Mika Kallio also breaking into the top section of the leaderboard. It was a year of rapid progress and accomplishment.

    RED BULL KTM ESTABLISH MARGIN TO IMPROVE AFTER TOUGH QATAR MOTOGP OPENER

    Three days of wind, varying temperatures and more development workwith the KTM RC16 at the Losail International Circuit did not blow-in the results Red Bull KTM Factory Racing were expecting for the first round of nineteen in 2018 MotoGP. Pol Espargaro briefly put aside his technical issues from Saturday qualification to push up from a grid spot of 22nd and battle for 13th place with countryman Alvaro Bautista and within sight of the leading groups of the 22 lap affair. Sadly his designs on a slot near the top ten were dashed on lap 15 with a recurrence of the electronic ‘gremlin’ that curtailed his efforts in Saturday’s Q1.

    ST. LOUIS SX RECAP: MUSQUIN RETURNS TO THE PODIUM WITH A 3RD PLACE FINISH AT ROUND 11

    Marvin Musquin and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team made their return to the 450SX podium on Saturday with a 3rd place finish at Round 11 of the AMA Supercross Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. In the 250SX East division, Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jordon Smith charged through the pack to earn a hard-fought 3rd place finish, extending his podium streak to three-in-a-row.
