01. Engine & Exhaust

Engine

The race-proven and fully adjustable WP XPLOR shock absorber has received a re-tune, with factory settings making it firmer, and new conical bushing between the pistons to improve bottoming reserves. This has resulted in reduced fade and improved wear, taking the PDS rear suspension design even further in its quest for podiums.

Cylinder head

The KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS engine is fitted with a compact DOHC cylinder head for optimal mass centralization. The head configuration promises efficient power delivery and unrivaled performance. A single overhead camshaft also ensures optimal gas flow, with low-friction rocker arms and timing chain guides guarantee consistent performance throughout the rpm range. The DLC coated finger followers, as well as the lightweight titanium valves they actuate - intake 32.5mm, exhaust 26.5mm -,allow for higher engine speeds.

Crankshaft

Kod modela KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS radilica je idealno postavljena blizu težišta i znatno unapređuje i olakšava upravljanje. Dizajnom je predviđena izrazito centralizovana konfiguracija radilice, motor je kratak i kompaktan, i znatno doprinosi efikasnoj centralizaciji težišta. Osim toga, pametna površinska struktura poklopca motora koja smanjuje habanje nastalo u kontaktu sa vozačevim čizmama, te se čini da je površina sveža i nova kao i prvog dana. Transmission

Kod modela KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS ugrađen je robusni 6-stepeni menjač koji je izradio PANKL Racing Sistems. Kovani zupčanici izrađeni su od vrhunske sirovine koja garantuje najviši nivo izdržljivosti i pouzdanosti. Potrebe za promenom prenosnih odnosa nije bilo jer su savršeno usklađeni sa karakteristikama i snagom motora. Svi četvorotaktni motori opremljeni su senzorom prenosa, što motoru omogućava različite karakteristike za svaki stepen prenosa.

Engine management system

Vrhunska centrala motora Keihin, sa elektronskim ubrizgavanjem goriva, i ventilom od 42 mm ima i odvojene sisteme za hladan start i podešavanje rada u praznom hodu. Nosač kablova na leptiru gasa je pristupačan i olakšava usmeravanje kablova. Elektronska centrala motora sa mapama koje možete birati prema podešavanjima, optimizovanim prema sistemu izduva, kućištu za vazduh i konfiguraciji motora, reguliše kontrolu prianjanja a aktivira se pomoću prekidača za odabir mape rada na upravljaču. Balancer shaft

Multifunkcionalni bočno postavljeni kontra-teg savršeno uravnotežuje sve oscilacione sile, i istovremeno pokreće pumpu za vodu. Efikasno smanjuje vibracije motora na minimum, a rezultat je veoma uglađena vožnja čak i pri visokim brzinama motora.

Clutch

This translates into a playful handling character, with remarkable stability at speed. The subframe is made of extra-light and ultra-stable aluminum profiles, weighing less than 900 grams providing rear fender stability and durability in the event of a loop out.

Swingarm

The KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS features a one-piece aluminum swingarm, which is manufactured using a gravity die-cast production process. This results in exceptional strength at the lowest possible weight and the perfect flex behavior.

Wheels

KTM uses lightweight, CNC-machined hubs and high-end GIANT rims on all KTM SIX DAYS models. These guarantee maximum stability and the bare minimum weight, while aluminum spoke nipples feature an innovative design, which reduces the need to continuously tighten the spokes. They also look the part with unique SIX DAYS branding.

Suspension

For 2022, all KTM EXC models have received a suspension update, with a firmer factory setting focusing on performance and improved consistency across different terrains.

Front suspension

Firmer factory settings as well as new slots in the outer fork tube, mean the 48 mm diameter WP XPLOR upside-down forks feed more oil to the bushes and reduce friction and heat build-up. The fork springs have also been updated with a polished surface finish, which reduces internal friction as well as wear resistance and increases rebound damping performance. The forks retain their adjustability, with compression damping on the left and rebound on the right.

Rear suspension

The tank is also manufactured using see‐through plastic, riders are able to gauge fuel levels at a glance and on the go.

Airbox

Seat

It goes without saying that six days spent in the saddle require a certain level of comfort. For that reason, the KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS features a softer, grippier seat, finished in a striking blue and orange color combination.

Footpegs
