A narrow path meanders nonchalantly through birch and beech trees to the destination - the plateau of 1000 lakes. On the way there, we ride through curves, over counterslopes and faults in the ground, ideal for letting the motorcycle glide, and in the end we see the reflection of the first lake. Time for a short break before heading off into enormous pine woods. The track clambers over roots and rocks and you would think you're in Canada or Finland. What an uncanny similarity!
