KTM continues to consolidate its strong position in digital communications. For almost one month, exclusively edited articles, photos and videos are published on blog.ktm.com, enabling the user to see behind the curtain of a unique KTM world. Guaranteed ORANGE, certainly with SPEED and of course published by, and for, PETROLHEADS. The current top story, as a preview on EICMA 2012, dedicates itself to an important topic!
In May 2011 the new KTM website was launched and for almost two months now the Husaberg homepage shines in new splendour too.
At the same moment diligent work was going ahead to establish the KTM Social Media network. In addition to the Youtube channel and Twitter account, the KTM Racing Fanpage on Facebook - with more than 800,000 fans - is considered a fundamental part of the business of communications and interaction.
The new KTM Blog was officially activated at the same time as the progressive new Adventure generation was unveiled at the Intermot show in Cologne in October. The clear objective: further development of digital communication by means of presenting and showcasing unique content.
KTM Blog: Orange – Speed – Petrolheads
At least twice a week the KTM Blog reports on topics - in German and English - that can’t be experienced or found anywhere else. Motorcycles, interactive tools, lifestyle, people and racing are in the thick of it. But it doesn’t matter who’s first, second or third – what really counts is the focus on the people and the stories behind. Simple and interesting, with an archive, a Tag Cloud and with the possibility to share the experience with friends in Web 2.0.
The current top story on blog.ktm.com offers a special teaser for the EICMA 2012 show, where you can see (or better hear) what happens when KTM´s best technicians, designers and motorcyclists are turned loose and don’t have to adhere to any regulations or guidelines – a genuine prototype. Which for now can only be seen on the KTM Blog: http://blog.ktm.com!
