Cube Eyewear as well as Charterlink have also confirmed their sub sponsorship.
The experienced Gray Dick has joined the Brother Broadlink KTM Factory Team for 2011 and has put the National Offroad Open class title on his list of goals for 2011. Dick is looking forward to race his KTM 450 EXC in the Offroad’s, but will rely on the 300 XC-W 2-stroke machinery for the Enduro’s. Also a new member to the team is the young and dedicated Tyron Miller. 17 year old Miller will race the newly introduced under 21 OR4 Offroad class onboard his 250 EXC-F and 2011 will also be his first year racing in National Enduro’s. Miller has just won the OR4 class in the first Northern Regions Offroad race onboard his new orange machinery and will give his very best to win the Regional and National title for his sponsors.
Altus de Wet, the 2010 Vice Enduro Champion and Scott Scheepers (2010 OR3 Offroad Champion) will both be on the same machinery as Miller and will race in the 200 class in both National Offroad and Enduro.
2010 OR2 Offroad Champion Riaan van Niekerk wants his number one plate back and will fight for the Overall Offroad title on the brand new KTM 350 XC-F machinery which is based on the 350 SX-F Motocross bike that has secured the MX1 World Championship title for Antonio Cairoli in 2010.
Van Niekerk is also aiming for top results in the National Enduro’s where he will race the Open class onboard his KTM 250 XC-W 2-stroke machinery. KTM’s 250 XC-W has recently been crowned the ‘best enduro bike tested in 2010’ by Enduro World Magazine and is the weapon of choice of the likes of Taddy Blazusiak and Paul Bolton.
Darryl Curtis and Swiss rider Lionel Seydoux have made themselves a name in the International Extreme Enduro scene and will proof their technical skills onboard the Roof winning KTM 300 XC-W 2-stroke.
The competition doesn’t sleep and 2011 will be the most competitive racing season in years which motivates the Brother Broadlink KTM Factory riders even more to strive for championship glory. Dedication, consistency, fitness and most important, passion for the sport will be the key to success.
