MUSQUIN VISITS KTM FACTORY RACING HQ

KTM factory rider Marvin Musquin back in Europe on a break from the US AMA racing program made a flying visit to KTM Racing Headquarters this week to meet with Pit Beirer, Head of KTM Motorsports and to pick up his KTM 250 SX-F to race in the Geneva Supercross competition this weekend.

Marvin Musquin is competing in the Geneva Supercross to sharpen his race tactics and skills in active competition ahead of the 2013 AMA Supercross season, which starts in Anaheim, January 5, 2013. In Geneva he will ride the KTM 250 SX-F but in the bigger 450 cc class because he wants to face off against a tough field of competitors, including some big names from the AMA circuit. Musquin is also happy to be riding with his favourite old No. 25!

What at KTM Racing HQ, Marvin also met and chatted with workshop staff and also took the opportunity to get the feel for Sandro Cortese’s winning Moto3 machine. He also couldn’t resist grabbing a helmet and trying out the KTM Freeride 350 with a few circuits and wheelies in the and around the workshop. Mechanic Frankie Latham, who was also the former mechanic to Andrew Short during his time in the KTM USA factory team, accompanied Marvin for the visit, which was also a great opportunity to catch up with his news and wish him all the best for this weekend’s ride in Geneva.

Musquin talks about 2013 season and his new equipment
