COOK EARNS 7TH AT STEELE CREEK GNCC

published at 03/30/2011

FRE/KTM ATV GNCC rider Bryan Cook earned 7th overall at the third round of the ATV GNCC Series in Morganton, NC.

The Steele Creek GNCC proved to me a very rough course for the ATV riders as it rained the entire race. After pulling holeshots at the first two races this season, everyone was looking for Cook’s orange ATV at the front of the race. “Unfortunately I got off to a bad start in the mud today,” remarked Cook. “It was a long day trying to make up for that start!”

Cook worked up to 10th place at the end of the first lap. He picked off two more riders on the second lap. He continued to charge forward trying to catch the lead group that had distanced themselves quite far from the rest of the pack. At the end of the race, Cook was able to move by one more rider to claim 7th overall for the day. With three rounds down, Cook now sits 6th in overall points.
