Just one day after Zulfahmi Khairuddin’s outstanding race in his home Moto3 Grand Prix, the KTM Malaysian factory rider experienced that KTM is a company that honors its promises.
At the beginning of this season KTM executive Mr. Trunkenpolz promised the young racer, who since Sunday’s success has become a superstar in his country, that he will receive a new KTM 690 Duke if he makes a podium in Moto3.
Now just 24 hours after the rider, Sel Narayana (CEO of KTM in South East Asia) and the CEO of the International Sepang Circuit, Dato Ahmad Razlan Ahmad Razali celebrated yesterday’s milestone, Zulfahmi Khairuddin took delivery of the powerful single, additionally equipped with a full range of KTM PowerParts. It was a fitting gesture to mark the first ever MotoGP podium by a Malaysian rider.
All importers that represent KTM in the Southeast Asian region attended the hand-over ceremony and also welcomed the opportunity to shake hands with their new star sports personality. Naturally, Zulfahmi’s No. 63 was immediately fitted to the bike.
