The KTM engineers made no compromise when it came to giving the MY 2013 Adventure even more performance, versatility, on-road agility and comfort. They adapted the KTM RC8 R's 1190 cc superbike V2, which generates 150 hp in the 1190 Adventure. They optimized on-road handling also by smaller wheels and wider tires. They reduced the seat height by using just a little less suspension travel. They enhanced comfort by making the foot pegs, seat height, handle bars and wind shield adjustable. They increased the 1190 Adventure’s range by enlarging the tank to 23 litres. And they added some sophisticated riding assistance systems: an ABS you can switch off and that also has an off-road mode which allows lock up of the rear wheel; a traction control you can also switch off and that gives you the choice of four different settings for rain, street, sport and off-road; and an electronic suspension offering four different spring pre-loads and three matching damper settings at the push of a button. The strong KTM trellis frame, the top quality suspension components and the powerful brakes round off a comprehensive package. 1190 Adventure R - THE WORLD’S MOST TALENTED ADVENTURE BIKE
