ENGINE
The modern, extremely compact, 2-stroke engine clearly sets the benchmark in its class with its very controllable power. Equipped with a newly developed automatic clutch, the KTM 50 SX Mini 2013 even easier to master. Thanks to the 3-shaft concept, the crankshaft in the KTM engine is closer to the bike's centre of gravity, which not only benefits the handling; it also allows a flatter and thus flow-optimised inflow angle of the intake membrane for maximum performance.
OPTIONAL RESTRICTOR KIT
To enable adaptation of the race-ready performance of the KTM 50 SX Mini 2013 to the needs of the youngest beginners as well, a power-reduction kit is available from the PowerParts range, with which the engine can be restricted to a moderate 5.5 hp.
