RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING
The Red Bull Factory Racing Team goes into the 2015 season with lead rider Jeffrey Herlings and promising young junior Pauls Jonass.
Herlings had a sensational first half of 2014 season winning 12 of the first 13 GPs and was within a handful of points of sealing the title when he broke his leg and had to sit out the rest of the season. Herlings did make a heroic appearance in the final round in Mexico, racing with his leg in a special brace to try to save the title, which finally went to his then teammate Jordi Tixier of France.
Herlings will be back in winning form in 2015 and will be going for his third MX2 World Championship title. He and Pauls Jonass will race on the KTM 250 SX-F machine. Jonass who comes from Latvia is a former Junior World Champion in 85cc and 125cc and last year raced selected MX2 GPs with the Italian team KTM Marchetti.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MX2 team is managed in 2015 by Dirk Gruebel.
