KEN DE DYCKER

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Ken De Dycker first joined the team as a stand in rider for the injured Max Nagl at the beginning of the 2012 season. He was confirmed as a full factory rider for the team half way through the season. He performed well on the KTM 450 SX-F and continued to improve as the season progressed, finally finishing fifth in the MX championship. He was third overall in the GP of Russia and frequently scored a top five overall result. Ken worked hard with teammate Tony Cairoli in the off-season break and said in a pre-season interview that his speed had improved along with his physical fitness. “My concentration is much better,” he said. “I am fitter than ever before and this team and bike is the best thing I could have for 2013 and the best thing there is. This year, with Claudio De Carli and everyone at KTM we have everything we need to succeed. There is nothing missing in preparation and we can finish first and second.”
