LUIS SALOM
Born in Palma de Mallorca on August 7,1991, Luis Salom is a graduate of the Red Bull Rookies MotoGP Cup competition where in 2008 he missed taking the title by just four points and was also runner-up in the Spanish National Championship. He rode 12 GPs in 2009 with the WRB team and was twelfth overall in his first full season in MotoGP 125cc in 2010. In 2011 he was second in the Dutch and Australian GPs and finished the season in eighth place.
Salom moved up to Moto3 in 2012 to ride the Kalex-KTM for the Dutch team RW Racing GP where he finished second to Red Bull KTM's Sandro Cortese after a season that saw him on the podium on eight occasions, including two wins. the result also won him a place in the official KTM factory team (Red Bull KTM Ajo) for the 2013 season where he races alongside Zhulfahmi Kairiddin of Malaysia and Arthus Sissis of Asutralia.
