MUSQUIN WINS 250SX EAST SUPERCROSS AT THE METRODOME!
MINNEAPOLIS, Minnisota – Red Bull KTM Factory rider Marvin Musquin dominated the eighth round of the 250SX East Supercross Series held at the H.H.H. Metrodome in front of a nearly sold out crowd.
Marvin Musquin rode strong throughout the entire day in Minneapolis. He turned the fastest lap time in afternoon qualifying to earn the top spot in his heat race. He started second off the line in his heat but passed into the lead by the next corner and went on to take the heat win by a 14 second gap.
The heat win earned Musquin the top gate pick in the main event. His gate selection paid off and he launched his KTM 250 SX-F out to another great start to pass into the lead after the first corner. He went on to lead every lap of the 15 lap main event, eventually claiming his fourth win of the series with a nearly 10 second margin over the rest of the field!
Musquin’s win at the Metrodome helped him inch closer to championship points lead. With one round remaining, Musquin sits five points behind William Hahn in the overall standings. Musquin will now have a two week break before returning to the series for the final round to be held in Las Vegas, NV on May 4, 2013.
