KTM TO ATTEND MCN LONDON MOTORCYCLE SHOW
published at 2013/02/07
KTM UK has confirmed its attendance at the forthcoming MCN London Motorcycle Show, February 15-17.
The Austrian manufacturer will display its full 2013 range of street bikes at the three-day event hosted in London’s Docklands, including the much anticipated 1190 Adventure, 1190 Adventure R, 690 Duke R and 390 Duke.
With the entire 2013 range arriving at UK dealers in Spring, KTM’s attendance at the show gives riders chance to see, touch and sit on these bikes ahead of the ‘riding season’ with KTM staff on hand to answer questions showgoers may have.
Along with the new additions, there are a host of other revisions throughout the line-up. The 125 and 200 Dukes are updated with new colours and will now come equipped with ABS as standard – the first 125 in its class to boast this.
The Superbike RC8 R receives new graphics and a PASC (Power Assist Slipper Clutch) and the popular 990 SM T (Supermoto Travel) gets treated to an orange frame and new graphics.
Shaun Sisterson, KTM UK Managing Director, said on KTM’s decision to exhibit at the show: “The KTM Street range has never been so strong and since we announced the new range the response – particularly to the new 1190 Adventures and the 390 Duke - has been incredible. So the MCN London Motorcycle Show is a great opportunity for us to talk to visitors there about these bikes.
“Unfortunately the 1290 Super Duke R prototype won’t be at ExCeL, but UK riders will be seeing and hearing more of that bike later in the year.”
Located at the state of the art ExCel Arena in London Docklands, the Show offers a huge array of stands from all worlds of motorcycling, plus for the first time the racers challenge, Revolution, will be in the middle of the show hall and can be viewed for free!
Tickets cost £16 in advance and kids under 15 go free, whilst bike parking is also free.
