RED BULL ON TRACK

Some 350 invited guests experienced something quite different at the RED BULL ON TRACK Motorsports Party at the F1 weekend at the Nürburgring and KTM fan and world champion Sebastien Vettel and the X-BOW were right in the middle of it.
The howl of engines, the squeal of tires and very high speed – the accelerator really went down even after Saturday’s Qualifying at Nürburgring’s Driving Safety Center on July 24, 2011. Actors, entertainers and sporting personalities like Bettina Zimmermann, Guido Cantz, Kaya Yanar, Charlotte Engelhardt, Fabian Hambüchen and Arthur Abraham were all on hand to enjoy the atmosphere and the speed with motorsports professionals like German Touring Car Championship driver Martin Tomczyk who acted as a taxi driver in the KTM X-BOW.
“When you sit in this car and they drive at 100% then it’s pure adrenalin, because you really have butterflies in your stomach. We’re no professional drivers so for me this here is far more dangerous than being in the pits,” said Arthur Abraham, IBF Middleweight World Champion
The guests were not deterred by the cool weather. Moderator and comedian Guido Cantz managed to see the humor in it. “Formula 1 in the Eifel (mountains) at 32 degrees – I’m really dressed too warmly,” he commented between the downpours. “Red Bull On Track is very cool and that’s simply a lot of fun.”
World Champion Seb Vettel was obviously thrilled and really made the tires squeal. “It’s naturally something very special to drive inform of your home crowd. It’s pretty amazing to see that the colors in the stands and also here are more and more those of Red Bull colors. Thanks for that!”
