Sachsenring / Germany
Set in grounds of over 50 hectares, the NEW SACHSENRING was built at one end of the former Sachsenring (Saxony Ring) racing circuit
Nestled in the hilly countryside surrounding Chemnitz, this location offers training racetracks with realistic conditions and the challenge of a selective circuit. With the provision of short connecting sections, the 3.7 km Grand Prix circuit is rideable in a total of three lap variants of differing character.
The Sachsenring is equipped with a generously sized pit complex comprising 34 individual boxes and is a venue for the MotoGP, among others. The auto, motor and sport Sachsenring Road Safety Centre is considered to be one of the largest and technically most advanced driver training centres in Europe. At the same time, the name “Sachsenring” is internationally renowned for exciting races watched by huge numbers of spectators in a fantastic atmosphere.
