KTM thrilled to be part of Canadian Arenacross!
Cool weather may be moving in, but heat is turning up for the KTM Canadian Arenacross Championships! The British Columbia based series features a solid pro line up, including KTM Factory racer, Jeremy Medaglia.
Originally, KTM Red Bull Royal Distributing Fox Racing’s Dusty Klatt was scheduled to compete at this weekend’s opener in Cloverdale, BC. Unfortunately, the two-time Canadian MX1 champ suffered a shoulder injury while cross-country mountain biking last week and is forced to take some time off.
Klatt hopes to be back for Rounds 3 & 4 on November 2-3, but in the meantime, arenacross fans will have Canada’s most exciting racer, Jeremy Medaglia, to cheer for.
“I’ve tried taking time off since the Montreal Supercross, but I can only go two or three days before I’m bored—I need to ride! [laughs]” says Medaglia. “I’m going out there to win, but I want to be consistent as well and bring home a championship. I’ve raced some of these events before and was impressed with the tracks and overall show. I would like to thank all of my sponsors for their support, and especially the guys at Maple Ridge Motorsports for taking care of me this weekend in Cloverdale.”
For fans attending the opening round of the KTM Canadian Arenacross Championship in Cloverdale, be sure to swing by Maple Ridge Motorsport’s pits and pick up a signed Jeremy Medaglia poster or snap a photo with the young racer!
