JONES WINS ROUND 2 AT ENDURO-X
Highway Performance Bikes KTM rider Tayla Jones takes out the win at round 2 of the KTM National Enduro X series.
Tayla Jones Qualified 4th for the Final after a few falls during the Heat races at Parramatta Speedway on Saturday night, but had her KTM 250 SX-F dialled in for the final and take the win with a massive 48Sec margin over 2nd place Jess Gardiner & 3rd Place Jemma Wilson. Jones was sitting in second place during the final when Gardiner went down on the Mountain Shade Rocks during the 1st Lap, Jones took over the lead and rode a faultless race continuing to gap the field.
The win puts Jones 2 points shy of Gardiner for the Championship going into the 3rd & Final round at Calder Park on the 2nd March.
Jones commented, That the Promoters of the KTM Enduro X Series had set up a World Class technical & challenging track, which took a bit of getting use to especially with the wet conditions, but had an awesome night of racing. The crowd and atmosphere were amazing, it was such a great event to be a part of & to come away with such a convincing win topped off a great night. I cant wait to see everyone down at Calder Park for the Final Round on the 2nd March.
