ENDURO - EXC 4-STROKE
250 EXC-F - KEY TO SUCCESS
KTM’s 250 cc four-stroke enduro has been ensuring success in the enduro E1 category at competitions all over the world for years. Just recently Antoine Meo conquered the E1 World Championship title 2012 on a 250 EXC-F. This makes the lively 250 a cornerstone of KTM’s consistent sales success in the Enduro market. For 2013 the 250 EXC-F excels with its super-agile chassis thanks to state-of-the-art WP suspension components and its powerful DOHC engine featuring electronic fuel injection. The latest version comes with new wheels manufactured in Mattighofen. The now black coated spokes increase corrosion resistance and centre new, extremely stable aluminium rims from Excel. New Maxxis tyres – especially developed for KTM – provide excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life. Last but not least a new in-tank fuel filter ensures safer filtering of micro particles in the fuel. The highly rugged, stable and ultra-light chassis will take everything you can throw at it. With unrivalled performance, this agile, tiny power pack remains the benchmark of its class in 2013.
350 EXC-F - THE HIGH-FLYER
KTM has transferred the successful MX WC recipe to the Enduro WC. The 350 EXC-F combines the ultraresponsive agility of a 250 with the perfect performance of a 450. The result is truly inspiring – Christobal “Chris” Guerrero finished the 2011 season as E2 vice champion and 2012 as E2 world champion! For 2013 the engine cases are produced in high pressure die cast instead of sand cast which allows a massive weight reduction by thinner walls. The DDS clutch (Damped Diaphragm Steel) reduces weight, too, and is smaller than a conventional clutch. The reworked 2013 chassis of the 350 EXC-F comes with new wheels manufactured in Mattighofen. New Maxxis tyres – especially developed for KTM – provide excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life. All this makes the 350 EXC-F a profoundly superior enduro. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro – the new 350 EXC-F climbs like a small bike but pulls like a big one.
450 EXC - SUBSCRIPTION TO VICTORY
Hardly any other mass-produced enduro is this close to the bikes of the factory racers. Optimised for model year 2013, the 450 EXC is simply the benchmark for every ambitious off-road rider on the quest for victory in the Enduro E2 class. Compact design, very easy maintenance and outstanding robustness at a minimum weight - these are the characteristics of its powerful and reliable SOHC engine.
