IDM SUPERBIKE 2011

Following the incident during the first lap in the second International German Superbike Championship (IDM) race at the Sachsenring whereby Martin Bauer was taken down and injured when Matej Smrz crashed, the situation was discussed at a specially convened, urgent meeting in Mattighofen. Present at the meeting were the principles of the Inghart-KTM Superbike team, the KTM management, head of KTM motorsports department and Matej Smrz. The Czech rider will continue to be on the start for the Inghart KTM Superbike team.
