| Laine Defends Lead at Pharaons International Cross-Country Rally |
| Lionel Laine, Dubai based KTM quad rider, is currently racing aboard his KTM 525 XC ATV at the 2009 Pharaons Rally in Egypt. |

He came to this event to defend his current standing as the leader of the quad class in the FIM Cross-Country World Championship. The seven legs of the rally run a total of 2,870 km. and will finish on the 11th of October. Laine is riding a KTM-UAE developed Rally ATV since the start of its development and has proved it to be a winning formula. The Pharaons Rally is considered to be amongst the toughest cross- country rallies in the world and it will be a new experience for Lionel to tackle the Egyptian desert.
