KTM podiums at CEC final Rounds!
CEC Series: Round 7 & 8, Parry Sound, ON, September 19th & 20th, 2009
RTR Performance Troy Lee Designs KTM Canada’s Bobby Prochnau is the 2009 Canadian Enduro Champion. RTR Troy Lee Designs KTM sponsored Prochnau competed and won all eight rounds of the newly formed Canadian Enduro Championship series. His ability to adapt to all types of terrain on his KTM 450 XC-F 2009 proved to be the winning combination and he proudly accepted the number “1” plate on behalf his sponsors after the final round in Parry Sound, Ontario this past Sunday. Rounding out the Pro Class overall podium in the Series were Royal Distributing Thor KTM teammates Jason Schrage in 2nd place Geoff Nelson in 3rd. Schrage who rides with support of KTM dealer Lethbridge Honda Center Limited, and Abbotsford, BC’s Nelson who is backed by Holeshot Motor Sports KTM in Langley, B.C. were able to keep up with the great results from the western rounds and represented their sponsors on the way to their overall positions. KTM Canada also had great success in the other CEC classes. KTM Canada’s Patrick Beaule nailed down the E1 Canadian Championship while grabbing a 9th in the Pro overall results for the season. Royal Distributing Thor KTM’s Victoria Hett was crowned as the Women’s Champion with her KTM 250 XC, while KTM Canada’s Any Lavoie won 2nd place overall. Allan Lachapelle, a KTM sponsored rider got 1st over all in the Vet Pro Class at the Enduro in Parry Sound this weekend on his KTM Woody’s Cycles 250 XC-F 2009. KTM dealers Valley Moto Sport and Action Motorcycles Inc. rider Mark Cahill won the series overall in the Vet Pro Class.

CMRC Alberta Provincial: Temple Hill Motorcycle Park, September 20th, 2009
Last weekend in Alberta was a provincial race and few amateurs KTM riders scored good results. In the Junior GP class, Justin Gautreau took the 1st position followed by KTM rider Brock Gaunt. Another KTM rider that finished on top is Avery Turner who finished in 1st position in the Junior MX1 class. In the 85cc 12-16 is was Daniel Mathe that settled for the 1st place.
KTM rider Kurt Caselli wins at the 9th round of the WORCS Series!
WORCS Series: 9th round Devore, CA, September 20th, 2009
This marks the second WORCS race Kurt Caselli has competed in this season and his second podium finish. Caselli started second off the start with fellow Shock Doctor/KTM riders Mike Brown in 5th and Justin Soulè within the top ten. Near the halfway point, Caselli led the race and never looked back. Brown soon moved into 3rd, quickly closing in on the 2nd place rider. Caselli, crossed the finish line in 1st, followed by Brown in 2nd. Ritzman and Soulè finished 4th and 5th respectively.

Le coureur RTR Performance Troy Lee Designs KTM Canada Bobby Prochnau est le champion 2009 du Championnat Canadien d’Enduro. Le coureur commandité RTR Troy Lee Designs KTM Prochnau a complété et remporté les 8 courses de la nouvelle série CEC. Son habileté à s’adapter aux différents types de terrain sur sa KTM 450 XC-F 2009 l’a aidé à prouver qu’il était le meilleur de sa catégorie. Il a fièrement accepté la plaque numéro 1 dimanche après la dernière course de la série. Les coéquipiers Royal Distributing Thor KTM Jason Schrage et Geoff Nelson ont complété le podium en prenant respectivement la 2e et 3e position au total de la série. Jason Schrage le coureur du concessionnaire KTM Lethbridge Honda Center Limited en Alberta et Geoff Nelson, du concessionnaire KTM Holeshot Motor Sports ont tous les deux réussi à maintenir le rythme et gagner des points important tout au long de la série. Les coureurs KTM Canada ont également obtenu d’impressionnants résultats dans les autres classes. Le coureur KTM Canada Patrick Beaulé a remporté le championnat dans la catégorie E1 prennant ainsi la 9e position au total pour la saison. La coureuse Royal Distributing Thor KTM Victoria Hett a été couronnée championne de la catégorie des femmes sur sa KTM 250 XC pendant qu’Any Lavoie a pris la 2e position. Le coureur KTM Allan Lachapelle, a réussi à remporter la 1ère position dans la classe Vet Pro Class à Parry Sound sur sa KTM Woody’s Cycles 250 XC-F 2009. Le coureur des concessionnaires KTM Valley Moto Sport et Action Motorcycles Inc. Mark Cahill a gagné le championnat dans la classe Vet Pro.
Excellents résultats pour les coureurs KTM à Temple Hill Park!
Série provinciale de l’Alberta: Temple Hill Motorcycle Park, 20 septembre 2009
La fin de semaine dernière se tenait une course provinciale en Alberta et plusieurs coureurs amateurs KTM ont obtenu d’excellents résultats. Dans la catégorie Junior GP, Justin Gautreau a pris la 1ère position au total suivi par le coureur KTM Brock Gaunt. Un autre coureur KTM qui a terminé sur la plus haute marche du podium c’est Avery Turner dans la classe Junior MX1. Dans la catégorie 85cc 12-16, c’est Daniel Mathe qui a été capable de prendre la 1ère position.
Le coureur KTM Kurt Caselli remporte la 9e course de la série WORCS!
Série WORCS: 9e course, Devore, CA, 20 septembre 2009
Cette course marque la 2e victoire à sa 2e participation à la série WORCS du coureur Kurt Caselli. Caselli était 2e après le départ et ses coéquipiers les coureurs Shock Doctor/KTM Mike Brown et Justin Soulè étaient en 5e et 10e position. Vers le milieu de la course, Caselli a pris la tête et l’a gardé jusqu’à la fin. Brown est rapidement remonté jusqu’en 3e position et un peu plus loin en 2e position. Caselli, a traversé la ligne d’arrivée en 1ère position suivi par Brown en 2e. Ritzman et Soulè ont terminé en 4e et 5e position.
