Nye and KTM podiums in Riverglade! CMRC MX Pro National: 7th round, Moncton, NB, August 2nd, 2009
Fresh off their double class wins in St-Thècle, QC, team Royal Distributing Thor KTM arrived in Moncton ready to battle. Moncton is always one of the favorite events on the schedule and Riverglade '09 was no exception. Huge enthusiastic crowds coupled with beautiful weather made for a great racing atmosphere. Getting a less than stellar jump off the gate, MX2 Royal Distributing Thor were teammates Eric Nye and round 6 winner Kyle McGlynn. Their KTM 250 SX-F’s pulled them around the rutted and rocky track and both riders charged hard finishing 4th and 8th respectively. The second MX2 Moto saw Royal Distributing Thor KTM champion Eric Nye grab the coveted Holeshot over the rest of the field. Kyle McGlynns #32 250 SX-F was a little way back but still in the top 10. Nye lost a position in the ultra rough GP section off the track but battled back and regained the lead half way through the moto crossing the finish line in 1st place. Eric nailed down 2nd overall and still sits 2nd in the Championship points. McGlynn meanwhile; had taken a rock to the jaw and persevered through the pain to finish 6th giving him 7th overall on the day.
The Moncton fans love their racing and the MX1 riders truly put on a show for the crowd. Only a few riders were putting together a section that had never been tried before. It was a huge uphill step up jump and Royal Distributing's Jeff "Norcal" Northrop was one of them. The Royal Distributing Thor KTM rider was able to pull a holeshot in moto 2 enabling his KTM 450 SX-F to race up front and finished 7th for the day on the strength of 13-6 motos. The #15 of Mason Phillips had a great ride in the first moto finishing 10th, but experienced technical issues the 2nd moto and looks forward to regrouping for Sand Del Lee. Royal Distributing Thor KTM rider Ryan Millar showed his skill and had a fantastic day. The rookie rider ran with the lead riders finishing in 8th place by the checkered flag of moto 2. His 10th place overall gave Millar his second top ten of the year.
The next stop on the tour is in Richmond, Ontario at the Sand Del Lee motocross facility. Team Royal Distributing Thor KTM will be there ready to podium and move up the championship point’s leader.
The #94 of Kate Mckerroll podiums in Riverglade. It was KTM dealer Parker Bros. Powersports rider Mckerroll’s first trip to the Riverglade facility and she rode her KTM 144 SX to a second straight podium finish in Moncton placing 3rd overall in the Ladies Pro National.

3rd overall for the day for Kurt Casselli! WORCS Series: 7th round, Olympia, WA, August 2nd, 2009
Caselli began the race in 5th place off the start and stayed in that position the first lap. On the second lap, a large bottleneck occurred which delayed the race so badly that the promoter decided to restart all the riders and shorten the distance of the track. After the restart Caselli remained in 5th position for quite a while battling with his teammate, Mike Brown. Soon Caselli had worked his way up into 2nd position. He was moving in toward the leader when his chain derailed after hitting a large log. Caselli eventually reentered the track in 3rd and finished on the podium. His teammate, Mike Brown, finished a solid 5th overall while the third member of the team, Justin Soule, finished right behind in 6th position.
