Bobby Prochnau wins the overall at CEC round 3 & 4!
Canadian Enduro Championship Series: 3rd & 4th round, Penticton, BC, July 11th & 12th, 2009
Last weekend the Apex Mountain Resort in Penticton, B.C, held rounds 3 and 4 of the Canadian Enduro Championship. When Saturday’s dust cleared it was another strong weekend for the KTM riders. Bobby Prochnau went 1-1 for the weekend that gives him 4 straight overalls on his KTM 450 XC-F RTR Performance/Troy Lee. Saturday, KTM dealer A&E RV Racing & Marine rider Jack Sawatsky won the E1 class closely followed by KTM Canada’s Patrick Beaulé (KTM 250 XC-F-W), who proved to adapt quickly to the Western terrain as he finished in 1st place Sunday. Lethbridge/Thor/KTM rider, Jason Schrage once again put in a solid ride on his KTM 300 XC and won the E3 category both rounds. Schrage is in 3rd position overall and only 2 points out of 2nd place after 4 rounds. Holeshot Motor Sports/Thor/KTM rider, Geoff Nelson from BC on his KTM 300 XC in 4th in the series after his two 2nd place in the E3 class. KTM Valley Moto Sport rider, Victoria Hett proved for a second consecutive weekend that she dominates the Woman class.
Orange podium at FMSQ Enduro-Cross race!
FMSQ Provincial Enduro-Cross Series: 5e course, St-Michel des Saints, Québec, 12 juillet 2009
It was an Orange podium at the 5th round of the FMSQ Provincial Enduro-Cross Series. Duroy Racing KTM rider Jérémy Daudelin rode really well in the sandy tight trail and finished the race in 1st position with his KTM 250 XC-F. Philippe Chainé was not really far behind as he took the 2nd spot on the podium with his 250 XC-F prepared by KTM dealer Ja-Per-Formance. Antother Duroy Racing rider who performed really well is Michel Metcalfe (KTM 250 XC) who completed the orange podium with his 3rd place.
KTM rider Kerim Fitz-Gerald finishes 1st in the MX2 class at Port Perry!
CMRC Ontario Provincial Series: Port Perry, ON, July 12th, 2009
With a weekend off, KTM dealer Orange Motorsports rider Kerim Fitz-Gerald participated at the CMRC Ontario race in Port Perry. He crossed the checker flag in 1st position in both motos on his KTM 250 SX-F. He also rode in the Youth category finished in 3rd position with his 2-4 results. Two other KTM riders completed the top 5, Kurtis Jack and Mitch Mccoll. OMS rider Richard Grey was really fast in the Schoolboy class and it paid off as he took the 1st place. The schoolboy podium was completed by KTM riders Drew Roberts and Ryan Derry. Grey also won the Junior MX2 class followed by Derry in 2nd place and Roberts in 4th. The Junior MX1 category saw KTM riders Tyler Veenendaal and Connor Wagland finishing respectively in 1st and 2nd position.

FMSQ ATV Provincial Enduro-Cross Series: 5th round, St-Michel des Saints, QC, July 12th, 2009
Saturday was the 5th round of the FMSQ ATV Provincial enduro-cross. KTM dealer Grégoire Sport rider, Amélie Lavallée rode extremely well and was consistent the whole race as usual. Amélie crossed the finish line in 1st position with her KTM 525 XC ATV. In the ATV intermediate class, KTM rider Marc Verrette took the 1st position.
