CMRC MX Pro National: 1st round, Kamloops, BC, June 8th 2009
Last weekend under the extremely hot temperatures was the 1st CMRC MX Pro National at Whispering Pine Raceway. In the MX1 class, Royal Distributing Thor KTM riders rode very well starting with Jeff Northop, who took the 5th position overall with his 4-7 results on his KTM 450 SX-F. His teammate, new in the MX1 class this year, Mason Phillips (KTM 450 SX-F) ended up in 7th place overall. The youngest member of the team, Ryan Millar (KTM 450 SX-F) had a fantastic result finishing with a 13th place overall just behind RTR Performance / OMS KTM rider Liam O'Farrell in 12th place. In the MX2 class, the 2008 champion Eric Nye (KTM 250 SX-F) was really excited to come back to Canada and defend the title. As usual, he rode two consistent motos and had great battles with Teddy Maier for the podium position. He ended the day with a 2nd position overall with 3-2 moto results. Royal Distributing Thor KTM rider, Kyle McGlynn (KTM 250 SX-F) also rode very well and grabbed the 4th position overall in the ultra competitive MX2 class. RTR Performance / OMS KTM rider Kerim Fitz-Gerald rode a strong race and battled hard all day. He ended the day in 6th position overall with 4-9 moto results.

Bobby Desjardins finishes in 1st place at La Tuque race Saturday!
‘’Courses VTT Québec’’ Series: La Tuque, June 7th & 8th, 2009
KTM dealer Moto des Ruisseaux rider Bobby Desjardins was in La Tuque last weekend to participate in the ‘’Courses VTT Québec’’ Series. Saturday after winning the qualification, Desjardins won the Pro 16-24 class. Sunday, he rode really well during his first moto and it paid off as he finished in 2nd position. In moto 2, after a last place start, he was able to pass the majority of the riders and ended up with a well deserved 6th place. KTM dealer Grégoire Sport ATV rider, Patrick Brisebois raced in the semi-pro class and took the 5th position overall with his 12-3 results. Also two other KTM riders who scored great results in La tuque Sunday are Martin Lamontagne and Kevin Côté. They both finished in 1st position respectively in the Inter class and the 12-15 class.
Allan Lachapelle wins the annual Spring Harescramble in Ontario! Spring Hare Scramble: Perth, ON, June 7th, 2009
KTM dealer Woody’s Cycle hosted again this year his annual 2 hour Hare Scramble race. Over 80 riders entered this event. In the Pro Class, Allan Lachapelle led shortly after the beginning of the race with his KTM 250 XC-F and took the overall for the day. KTM rider Kenny Beach finished in 1st position (KTM 200 XC-W) in the Intermediate class and 2nd overall, passing the other racers in the pro class. Kyle Lueders (KTM 200 XC-W) finished behind him in 2nd position. In the Vet Class, Dave Percival crossed the finish line in 3rd. All of these riders are on the KTM Woody’s Cycles race team.
Tommy Searle and Justin Brayton both walked away with a top ten overall result!
US Motocross Lites Series: 3rd round, Wortham, TX, June 6th, 2009
In moto 1, Justin Brayton quickly began moving forward. When Tommy Hahn crashed a lap later, Brayton moved up into 14th position. He continued to charge forward finishing 11th. The second moto started better for both Jagermeister/MDK/KTM riders. Summey started 10th with Brayton close behind in 13th. By lap six, Brayton had climbed up to 11th. He passed another rider for 10th and remained in that position for the duration of the race.
US Motocross Series: 3rd round, Wortham, TX, June 6th, 2009
In the 250 Motocross Class Tommy Searle had a good start rounding the first turn in 4th. Searle made a couple of mistakes near the end of the moto which dropped him back to 6th. His teammate, Wil Hahn, started 9th and ended up in 11th. J-Law Racing/KTM's Max Anstie finished 15th. Anstie turned his luck around in moto two when he almost got the Holeshot. Anstie had a great ride to take 10th place and Hahn was able to move up to 13th.
