2 KTM on the podium at CMA Enduro season opener!
Beagle Bash, CMA 1st national Enduro: Turkey Point , ON, April 25th, 2009
Saturday was CMA’s 1st national Enduro in Turkey Point, ON. For the season opener, a majority of KTM riders started of the Enduro style race. It was a beautiful day out to be racing and the trails were in very good conditions. KTM riders rode very well on the tight trails. In the Master class, Michel Metcalfe from KTM dealer Duroy Pièces d’autos, was very fast during the whole race and finished in 2nd place followed closely by KTM rider Patrick Beaulé in 3rd place, both on a KTM 250 XC. Not far behind was Allan Lachapelle who finished in 4th place on his KTM 250 XC-F prepared by KTM dealership Woody’s Cycle.
Cory Graffunder and Bobby Prochau finish on top to The Cat Scratch race!
P.N.W.M.A. Series, The Cat Scratch race: Squamish, BC,. April 26th, 2009
Last weekend in Squamish, BC The Cat Scratch Hare Scramble off road event was held. KTM dealer RTR Performance riders Cory Graffunder and Bobby Prochnau were in top shape and dominated the event. Graffunder finished in 1st place on his KTM 300 XC and his teammate, Prochau took the second spot on the podium with the help of his KTM 450 XC-F.
Justin Brayton finishes 5th overall!
US Supercross Lites West Series: 8th round, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, April 25th, 2009
Muscle Milk/MDK/KTM West Lites Supercross rider Justin Brayton turned his luck around and finished 5th overall at the final round of the AMA West Lites Supercross Series. In the Lites Supercross main event, Brayton got a great jump off the start and rounded the first turn in 7th position. On the twelfth lap he caught and passed Blose to move into the top five. He was able to finish 5th overall for the night and 4th overall for the series. |
