This isn’t just a bike, it’s a racing machine that is instantly the main contender on all tracks. The KTM 450 SX-F was the winner of three motocross shoot outs in 2010 thanks to its electric starter, new 5-speed gearbox, CNC-machined triple clamps, new high-level chassis, fully-adjustable 48mm USD forks with closed-cartridge technology and sophisticated tuning.
The fantastic combination of extreme power and high-precision control set the bar high for rideability. The clever electric starter is part of this bike’s true perfections. With its optimized setting, the fully adjustable PDS shock absorber from WP provides greater comfort and progression, and therefore, additional reserves under extreme loading. Premium front Brembo SXS two-piston brake caliper and light wave-type brake discs create the ultimate braking package. The new frame structure with its new geometry gives you better handling and more sensitive front wheel control. Renthal handlebar grips and handlebars come standard.

- titanium exhaust pipe now includes Header Pipe Resonator System (HPRS) that helps improve power and reduce sound

Chassis:
- new frame design that rotates the engine forward slightly and lowers the tank and seating position for improved weight balance, less deflection on the front end, better control of front wheel and an overall lighter feeling
- entirely new KTM patented triple clamp design which includes a 22mm fixed off-set and overall design improvements for improved flex characteristics and optimal handling
- shortened rear shock (-4mm) to work in-conjunction with the new frame
