This KTM dual-sport machine uses ultra-modern technology in both the chassis and the SOHC engine which further perfects one of the most successful street legal enduro race bikes on the market. The ultralight cast aluminum swingarm with directly connected PDS shock absorber ensures optimum flexibility, which results in enormous traction and comfort. The new frame is made from the best chromoly steel with massive oversized oval side tubes resulting in a light and stable frame.

- new frame design that rotates the engine forward slightly and lowers the tank and seating position for improved weight balance, less deflection on the front end, better control of front wheel and an overall lighter feeling
- new suspension valving and PDS needle design to provide damping slightly earlier in the suspension stroke for a more progressive feel
- new brake master cylinder and Brembo front brake caliper along with new brake pads for awesome performance and progressive stopping power
- redesigned air box with a new shape that helps reduce dirt and water collection
- new TwinAir filter
- new translucent fuel tank allowing the rider to easily check the fuel level
- new DID 520 VT2 X-ring chain for less friction and improved durability
