The RC8 engine is a perfect example of the ideal combination of peak performance and massive torque. With a maximum of 155hp at 10,000 RPM, a torque of 88.5 lb-ft the latest LC8 engine generation is the ideal source of power for a Superbike. KTM has used the highest quality WP suspension elements for the RC8 including the adjustable WP steering damper. The bike’s well-balanced riding characteristics and precise handling is supported by 17” light Marchesini wheels in a five-spoke design. Super-sporty Pirelli tires keep the 1190 RC8 in close contact with the tarmac.
The RC8 offers a vast range of possibilities for individual adjustment of the riding position. The height of the rear subframe can be adjusted by 20mm; both handlebars and footpegs are height-adjustable along with all four operating levers, allowing the rider to create his or her perfect ‘workplace.’ What makes this bike even better is how easily it can be changed from street to track ready. The license plate bracket, passenger seat, passenger footpegs and mirrors are quickly removable to change the RC8’s attitude from a sporting street ride to an aggressive track day.
